The Good Rice Gallery — Restaurant in London

We came by yesterday mid morning and we were so pleasantly surprised! The street where the shop is located looks unassuming but as you approach the window and see what's on offer, you can't help but be tempted. The friendly owner talked us through what everything was and we settled on a mortadella/mozzarella/bechemal/pistachio brioche (i think that was it!) and a pistachio croissant - we ate both in absolute silence we were that blown away by the taste! The mortadella brioche in particular was the most amazing thing I've eaten - incredible textures and tastes. There were so many sweet and savoury pastries and ice cream too, I can't wait to come back to try some more. Such a great find if you're wanting a quick coffee and something sweet, or stocking up on things to picnic on in nearby Regents Park. It really made my day finding...

I came from far just to try this place and it was closed. Google says that on Friday they are open till 5PM but at 4 it was closed already. There are no infos on their website. A photo on the internet showing opening times and it seems like they close at 3 PM. Now I am here and there are no opening times on the window anymore. Miserable experience. The food looked incredible and I have been wanting to try it for a long time but it’s not possible. Shame on them. They advertise this activity on social medias to attract more customers but they are totally unreliable. I drove for 45 minutes for nothing. They removed the opening times from their window because they aren’t capable of respecting them. Unprofessional behaviour. On Facebook they constantly change their activity times. Don’t waste your time...

This is a very good place...food looks wonderful. We've only tried the cassava so far but that was delicious and the coffee excellent. The savouries look fresh and rather tempting...solution...come back for more.

This little cafe is very near the excellent Engine Room, St Bede's Hall where I've just recently relocated my Pilates Matwork classes into fabulous surroundings. Now that I've checked out the cafe I have somewhere equally good to recommend to my students for coffee/food, before/after class...just up the road and around the corner...4...
