Title: Unfair Treatment at King and Queen: Sober Yet Refused Entry
I recently had a highly disappointing experience at King and Queen. Upon arriving, I was shocked when the bouncer refused me entry, claiming I appeared intoxicated. As someone who is completely teetotal, this accusation was both baseless and offensive.
I approached the establishment looking forward to a great evening, only to be met with an unjust and humiliating response from the staff. Despite explaining my situation, the bouncer was unyielding and dismissive. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism and respect for patrons.

Read moreComfortable pub with a carpet making it very traditional. There's an interesting old cash register which is a great touch. Small section outside to stand with drinks and good number of tables inside for the size of the pub. The range of drinks is adequate but you won't find some of the more common lagers. They do not have a food menu but of course there's snacks such as crisps etc. Toilets aren't modern and don't feel the cleanest and they're very small. Prices are higher than some nearby alternatives but not excessive. Staff are efficient especially when it's busy but not overly friendly, but it is a nice place for a more quiet drink...

Bob Dylan played an intimate gig upstairs for those that fancy a bit of trivia. Quality venue and will continue drinking here for as long as the gentrification of London allows it to stay open. Support the old English boozer ! Five stars from me, keep up...
