London Pub MapLondon Pub Map
🚇 Holland Park 🍺 £6.25 London Pilsner A Charming Notting Hill Gastro. The Ladbroke Arms is located on a quiet side street opposite the local police station in Notting Hill. The nearest Tube is Holland Park, it’s a five minute walk to get here. This pub was built in 1843 and is named after James Weller Ladbroke who developed the surrounding Ladbroke Estate in the 19th century. This eye catching pub has some wonderful features throughout. This is a one room pub that is divided into two sections. As you enter you arrive into the main bar area that has an Artdeco servery with stained glass panels above. Around the walls are some bold artworks, a huge etched mirror and a beautiful black and white historical photo of the pub. To the left of the servery is a raised section which is traditionally decorated and set aside for dining. At the front of the pub is a quaint patio terrace to while away in the warmer months. The beer selection was diverse and included one cask, London brews and some premium continental mainstays. I decided on a pint of London Pilsner by Portobello Brewing, my pint was excellent, price point was just above average. This is a well celebrated Gastropub, so much so that it has recently been awarded an AA Rosette. The food menu consists of elevated pub classics which keeps the locals coming back for more,Fish & Chips costs £23. I arrived around 5pm for a Thursday afternoon afterwork pint. The main bar and dining area were quiet, as it was a lovely day most punters were gathered on the patio at the front of the pub. The punters were a mix of afterworkers like myself, loyal locals and the odd stray tourist. The service was warm and welcoming, the chap who served me was all smiles and courteous. This upmarket local Gastro was a very enjoyable visit indeed. Obviously I was here beer, there were plenty of provisions for me to do so without any knife and fork intimidation. Having said that, if I fancied some posh nosh, I was in the right place. I loved the setting, decor and the warm local feel. I would definitely recommend a visit to the @ladbrokearms . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 28.09.23

A friend recommended this for a Sunday roast and so glad he did. Cute place. Bigger than it looked. Nice patio with umbrellas We didn’t try any starters, other than the warm bread and butter brought to the table. I went with the chicken roast dinner. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a chicken breast. So easy to eat. I liked the pig in a blanket (here - bacon wrapped sausage). I am not sure if I liked the Yorkshire pudding or the roasted potatoes more. Both were great to dredge in the mustard spotted gravy. So so good! I enjoyed the quarter of cabbage. The bread sauce isn’t my thing but the horseradish was great! Husband went with the beef and said it’s the best roast he has had! A good portion of mostly mid-rare beef with potatoes, cabbage, Yorkshire pudding, and carrots. Despite being very full, I had to try the sticky toffee recipe with butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream. Quite delicious. I like the almost burnt flavor. Service was good. Friendly and helpful. The Bloody Mary was spicy and full of fresh veggies. The after dinner cocktails sounded good. Next time.

I recently visited the Ladbroke Arms Pub in Kensington with my husband and daughter, and it was such a great experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was on another level thanks to the talented Brazilian chef. We had a delicious Sunday roast 🤩full of unique and sophisticated flavours and the drinks were excellent. Our daughter, who’s usually very picky, absolutely loved her kids’ Lemon & Thyme Chicken Roast, which says a lot! The highlight for me was the Peach Melba Pavlova. I tried it for the first time and adored it 🤩the sweet and sour combination was perfectly balanced and truly unforgettable. Our experience was made even better by the outstanding service. Aline was very friendly and attentive, always checking on us to ensure we were comfortable. Magdalena, the manager, was there overseeing everything, ensuring the entire place ran smoothly. Highly recommend this gem if you’re after a proper pub experience with fantastic food and service!
