⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment we stepped into this restaurant, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the décor tastefully done, and everything about the place radiated care and attention to detail. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the incredible service we received—especially from our server, Olesia.

Olesia was a complete standout. From the very beginning, she greeted us with a bright, genuine smile that instantly made us feel welcome. Throughout the evening, her attentiveness was simply unmatched. She seemed to anticipate our needs before we even voiced them—refilling drinks, checking in at just the right times, and offering thoughtful recommendations with such confidence and warmth.

What struck us most was how happy and passionate she seemed about her work. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely enthusiastic and committed to creating a great experience for guests. Olesia never once seemed rushed or distracted. Despite how busy the restaurant was, she remained calm, kind, and fully present with us. That kind of energy is contagious, and it elevated our whole night.

Beyond the service, the food was absolutely delicious—every bite packed with flavor and clearly made with love and care. The presentation was top-tier, and you could tell that the kitchen takes real pride in what they do.

We left the restaurant feeling not only satisfied but truly cared for, and a big part of that was thanks to Olesia. She’s the kind of person who turns a great meal into an unforgettable experience. We’ll absolutely be returning soon—and we’ll be asking for her by name. Thank you for such a...

I was greeted nicely by the front of the staff lady and sat swiftly at the reserved table. Place was nice and clean overall. And this is where the positives end.

I asked for tap water when being sat down because I was thirsty on arrival. 5min later waitress came to collect the order, she didn't brought tap water so I asked again for it. After another 5 minutes I was really thirsty and asked another waitress for tap water. total 15min later, when I was about to take my own water bottle out of my bag, the tap water arrived in very tatty looking glass bottle and was just hastily plonked on my table with no apology for the wait. Ordered 2 souvlaki and large greek salad to share. Food arrived 20minutes from ordering. Souvlaki arrived cold, and meat was fried so long that was rubbery and dry on top of being cold. Obviously meat was not fully fried fresh, because it would not have the time to arrive cold 20 min from ordering - it was reheated for not long enough and lost warmth quite quickly before it even arrived on the table. Salad (that costed £8.50) arrived chopped to horrendously large pieces - thick chunks of onion were the size of a table spoon head, just herbs, no oil. There was oil on the table but the nozzle was sticky and dirty so we didn't dare to use that.

Safe to say, we did not stay for desert and left asap. Won't be going back here nor...

We visited last evening, as we have always enjoyed our visits to The Real Greek restaurants, we were looking forward to our meal. To save time we went for the set meal for two. The starters were excellent, the main dishes came too soon and they were tepid but tasty, hence the 4stars. Regretfully the evening was totally spoilt by another guest in the restaurant who was loud, obnoxious and he swore almost the whole evening. His behaviour was pointed out by a group of women to the waitress but nothing was done by any member of staff or management! A lady on another table asked him to be quieter and stop swearing as he was upsetting their evening, he retaliated by being rude to them. We were also sitting at nearby table and I asked him to be more considerate as he was ruining our evening as well. From then on he continued to load and kept glaring/staring at me. I wanted leave but I was encouraged to stay by the people round me. Eventually he left with his female companion, unbelievably he put his hands on my shoulders, this is when my husband jumped up and confronted this awful man and so did the lovely ladies next to us. When we left we were offered a bottle of wine, but this wasn't appropriate as we were off to the theatre. It disappointed us that awful diner was able to ruin other diners evening without being challenged...

A heartbeat from Leicester Square and surrounded by London's theatres, The Real Greek has a lot of more widely known competition. Walk past them and head straight here; it's friendly, extremely welcoming, the food is simply stunning and the prices are not over inflated tourist-trapping levels! We popped in here before a show and despite not booking at 5.30 on a Saturday, we were found a table. The service was so friendly and polite. Smiling and conversational while remaining entirely professional throughout. Olives for starters may sound fairly 'normal' but these were delicious at a standard I'd not tasted since being in the Mediterranean. Real Greek! The pitas we ordered were packed with stunning ingredients, the most captivating flavours and are the type that make involuntary sounds come from your mouth when eating. Mmmmmm All washed down with a Mythos, whether you want to relive your recent (or perhaps not so) break in Greece or simply need a nice place to eat before a show, then The Real Greek is for you! Do not miss the opportunity. Lots of indoor and outdoor (partially covered) seating. Bathrooms are down stairs, underneath the restaurant but there is disabled access toilet on the main level.
