I'm a bit bemused really. I chose this salon for my daughter, because of it's rave reviews. She has just turned 16, not at all confident and has just been through a traumatic time. She wanted a cut and colour for the first time. She wanted something a bit different. It was to be a treat for her. It was the opposite. Adrian was not helpful in the least. He looked at the images that my daughter had been inspired by, ripped them apart and made her feel stupid and ridiculous. He didn't bother to offer any alternative ideas, or even actually, to talk to her really. He made her feel so bad that she cried. He just stood there, oozing passive aggression and just shrugged when I decided to leave. No way was he going to do her hair. Thank god I didn't pay on line in advance, as I'd meant to. Usually, I am not very comfortable with having my hair cut because I sometimes meet hairdressers who cut too much or don't necessarily understand my expectations. But I came across this salon and Anthony, who naturally understood my needs: to keep the hair long, add volume and freshness, soften the shape and aerate without cutting too much. The result is perfectly natural, elegant, modern and gives vitality to my rather fine hair. I'm pleased with his work and his kindness. He was very warm and friendly. If you want to chat, he does, if you are shy, he lets you live comfortably in your bubble. I have recently started coming to Anthony for men’s cut and colour, and I couldn’t recommend this salon highly enough! On both my visits he took the time to understand what I was looking for, and gave his professional opinion about what he felt would work well too. Most importantly, he was really receptive to feedback and went the extra mile to make any tweaks/adjustments to ensure I left feeling happy and confident. I’ve really appreciated our conversations, and I get the sense he genuinely cares about his clients and his business.
