Upon stepping into Remedy Wine Bar, we were impressed by its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The dim lighting and rustic decor created the perfect ambiance for a relaxing evening. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the selection of white wines. The sommelier was knowledgeable and recommended a delightful white that perfectly complemented our meal. We savored the crisp and refreshing flavors, which enhanced the entire dining experience. The staff were gracious, and accommodating throughout our visit, offering insightful wine suggestions and patiently answering our questions about the menu. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that left a lasting impression. Now, turning to the food, while the presentation was visually appealing, the flavors fell somewhat short of our expectations. The tagliatelle, although cooked al dente, lacked the burst of flavors we hoped for. The deep fried zucchini flowers were decent but didn't quite leave a lasting impression. One dish that stood out was the tomato and ricotta salad, with its vibrant colors and fresh ingredients. However, even that could have benefited from a touch more seasoning to elevate the taste. Our bread was also cold. On the downside, the prices were relatively steep, given the overall culinary experience. We expected a bit more value for the money spent, especially considering the average quality of the dishes. Despite the culinary aspects falling a bit short, the inviting ambiance and the staff's warm demeanor made the visit enjoyable. If you're seeking a relaxed wine-drinking environment with friendly service, Remedy Wine Bar might be the right choice. However, we would suggest managing your expectations for the food and be prepared for a somewhat pricey experience.

Lot of wine, easy going relaxed wine bar. They also do wine journeys where they pair foods and wines, need to try that

We arrived a little early on our reservation, so the owner took us at the bar, gave us a glass of water and started talking with us. He was very polite and was chitchatting with us. We asked about the restaurant and the history of it, he asked some questions about us,
the owner was the nicest! 5 to 10 minutes later we got our table. The owner came over and explained some of the dishes that were on the menu. We ordered a bottle of rosĂ©, which we didn’t know yet, and the bottled turned out to be extraordinary! We ordered some bread, a plate of culatello (kind of Italian ham), a plate of smokey duck and a bowl of tonarelli (handmade pasta). Next to this we received a free plate of pork belly buns, given to us by the chef. The food was extremely delicious! One of the best places we’ve ever eaten. When we come back to London, we will surely visit again!

Outrageously overpriced The food is nice but not exceptional. Shared platters meant 3 small portions to be shared between 8 people! I believe the fixed menu was charged for more people than we were, and/or the service charge was ridiculous. And not deserved. They were unwelcoming and rude. I wasn't drinking too much, but they kept ignoring me when refilling the glasses. Service in general was unfriendly. The guy behind the bar could not smile for his life and seemed to take pleasure on being rude even while he was taking that money form us. If they don't want bigger groups they should mentioning it at the booking. I didn't question because we were inviting and celebrating a friend (who insisted and paid for drinks, where did all the rest come from) and didn't want to ruin the occasion or a good memory. But I'll remember this place and won't go there...
