Truedan Holborn 珍煮丹 — Restaurant in London

Not sure they planned for how busy it was going to be on opening day. Orders being placed very quickly but drinks were coming out quite slow. The total time I spent here from joining the queue to leaving with my order was about 40 minutes.

Would have also been helpful if the order numbers that were ready for collection were on a screen somewhere. I hope the poor lady doesnt lose her voice by the end of the day 🙂

Drinks were ok.... The brown sugar boba ones were sold out when I got there. I didnt realise the matcha one doesnt come with Tapioca already, so you will need to get it...

My lord, one of the thinnest and worst bubble tea I've ever had. No tea flavours and just tasted of thin skimmed milk and sugary soft hot boba. Come on, I have heard this was the place to go for bubble tea. Never again.

Places like sipp in Dalston is amazing, thick bubble tea and with your choices of tea flavours to add. True dan was a horrible experience when it came to their bubble tea but customer service was amazing.

Never will set foot in true dan again, if you like plain milky bubble tea then this placevis for you. I've have had better bubble tea from Longdan...

Absolutely wonderful. My go-to for bubble tea in London. Nevermind hectic Chinatown, this place is like the underground VIP lounge of boba. The brown sugar pearls are so good they probably have their own fan club, and the staff hand them over like they’re serving state secrets. The menu is a trap in the best way — you go in thinking “just one drink,” and come out balancing two, maybe three, because apparently self-control isn’t compatible with Truedan. If bubble tea were a religion, this would be the cathedral. Can't recommend...
