Where to begin.... I was taken on a surprise weekend to London as a birthday treat. Our trips to London always revolve around food! Being a lover of Italian my partner found zero sette. To give some context, we unfortunately had a bit of bad day, in which everything seemed to be going wrong and being my birthday just added to the frustration of nothing going as planned. Upon arrival we had decided to share some starters and pizzas to try a range of things. Always opting for calamari and mussels to then found out that was the only items they didn't have left. The waitress (I wish I had caught her name), was extremely attentive and explained how the owner will settle for nothing less than fresh food, which is a definite quality to be admired in a restaurant. Feeling disappointed, we went off to explore some other restaurants, and eventually we returned to Zero Sette, and I am so pleased we did! The waitress, I think could see I was visibly upset and a bit disappointed with the way the day had turned out and she went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time. The pizzas were incredible, I had one with parma ham and rocket, my partner had margarita. Definitely bigger than the average pizza you get in a restaurant! An extremely generous portion, so fresh, hot, cheesy, nice thin crispy base... just everything you want a pizza to be. The dessert menu had a lovely list of authentic Italian desserts. With tiramisu being my favourite, I had to try it. And again did not disappoint. Great portion size, and lovely balance of all flavours. And to top it off the Waitress put a candle in my dessert to finish off my birthday. Overall, the restaurant is very spacious yet cosy, and spotless. I cannot thank the waitress and chefs enough for an amazing meal. We were very sad to hear that the business had struggled and had been considerably quieter since covid. So PLEASE go and visit Zero Sette, it will...
Read moreThis is a review on behalf of a group of people that I work with. They visited London for a business conference and wanted to pull together a quick dinner party for 20 people in under 24 hours. Laura, the manager that I had the pleasure of working with, was able to coordinate with me (in Toronto, Canada with a 5hr difference) and put this together so quickly with the wonderful chefs in the kitchen that had to contact their suppliers literally the night before so they could prep the next day.
The attendees of the dinner (my boss, colleagues and their guests) had the most wonderful time and dinner was a huge success. They commented on how wonderful the food was and how amazing Laura was during their time there. They said the service was wonderful as well!
Thank you so much for your help on this especially with me being on the other side of the planet trying to pull it together!

Read moreVisited the place for a corporate dinner. The experience was average - nothing brought down the experience, but nothing raised the bar either. 😏
I entered with simple expectations of getting the tummy filled with decent food in a clean and pleasant environment, and that's exactly what I left with. 👍
Some of the colleagues complained about the food to be too plain and simple. I concur. 💔 Now, it was a corporate dinner, so I did not pay anything. Had I done so, then I would've expected better food. 🤔
Will I hesitate to go there again? No. 😎 Will I prefer to go there again? No. 😇
Do give it a try. Maybe your experience will be better than mine. 😊
PS! After response from owner, I am raising review from three to four stars - giving them benefit of the doubt. The Nordics can be a little shy of spices. If they requested modifications in the menu, then it would certainly affect the outcome. And yes, the food was indeed Nordic...
