This was our first time trying a vegan donut and it didn't disappoint.
Gooey co. is known around Manchester for bringing some of the best sweet treats. Located in Ducie St Warehouse, they're always bringing out new variations of their creations.
Pictured here is the vegan vanilla donut and the cinnamon bun. The icing on the bun was too good to describe. As for the vanilla donut, you wouldn't know it was vegan. If we had the option, we might even choose the vegan one over the regular one because it was so yummy.
From memory each sweet treat was £3.50 and they did deals on larger quantities.
Gooey is a top-scorer for us!

It was nice jam, but far more than I could stomach so I ended up having to throw some away or face diabetes. Wasteful and extravagantly priced. At the risk of sounding like an inverted snob, the Lidl bakery section is excellent; their donuts are melt-in-your-mouth light and don't leave you feeling slightly nauseous and like you've...

I’m feeling sad that after 2 months of waiting to visit Gooey, I was left disappointed and disheartened. I think the cookies and freshly baked goods need a covering on them and the service was also very poor.
To avoid piling on the hate train, I didn’t appreciate the service inside their new restaurant. I was rushed along as if I was a pile of crumbs to be swept out the door. I would say take the other bad reviews with a pinch of salt but the cookies do all...
