Staff Handi -Lamb Curry Disappointing Experience

I had high hopes for this lamb curry, but unfortunately, it completely missed the mark.

The meat was tough and chewy, as if it hadn’t been cooked long enough. Lamb should be tender and melt-in-your-mouth — this was the opposite. The curry sauce itself lacked depth; instead of rich spices and complexity, it tasted like a watered-down tomato base with barely any seasoning. I could barely detect any real curry flavor.

Worse still, the dish was overly oily, leaving a greasy film on everything. Even the rice it came with was dry and undercooked — not what you want with a saucy dish like this.

After wasting hours looking for new places to order from end up ordering from same places. The karahi use to be pukka nice when dipping roti into masala but now the roti tastes bitter the masala curry bitter pure bitter leaves bad bitter hard taste feeling afterwards. The only thing still nice same is the chips. Must have changed curry chefs threwout years, few years ago chefs were better must have chefs changing all time all have own careless ways of making curries but im telling you nothing nice about curries now. Me and my partner went to this place because Mazaa was closed. We didn't expect it to be great. But actually the food at Paradise is very good, I think the Lamb Karahi is even better than Mazaa version, meat is so tender and has more flavour. The Palak Paneer is excellent, the egg rice is excellent and stuffed paratha and rotis also very good. Portion size is excellent.

The lamb doner is disappointing, the chicken doner is good but not Mazaa level. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the prices are fair. I will definitely go again. I learned a lesson that sometimes you need to try the quiet less popular places to discover...
