Upper Crust Manchester Coach Station — Restaurant in Manchester

Stopped off here 10 minutes before my bus was due as I do most mornings before I get the bus to work. Usually a welcoming young man called Ben serving or a lovely lady with half blue half pink hair always service with a smile. Serve me speedily as they know I’m usually in a hurry to get my morning coffee fix before the bus haha. Sometimes I get a pastry too pain au chocolat or croissant. They’re usually fresh and flaky and set me up for the day. Just wish the counter looked a lot fuller a lot of the times when I get there (about 9am) the counter only has one of each sandwich for display and looks a bit empty whether that’s for freshness reasons maybe in case the display isn’t refrigerated maybe? I was served by an excellent young lady named charlotte. After a long day week, I thought I would treat myself to something a little bit different for lunch, so off I went to Upper Crust in the coach station, I had been slammed with back to back meetings all week and a headache that had been lingering since last week. Regardless of my ever lasting headache, the young lady behind the counter who served me could not have been more helpful, her up beat and positive attitude, left a lasting impression which really brighten my day. So thank you Charlotte, you are a shinning example of how little interactions with individuals has a lasting impression on others day. Came here for a quick bite to eat and some coffee to hold me over after a long flight from the US. I'd heard a few stories about the customer service in the UK(and Europe) compared to the US, but this shop proved them all wrong! Charlotte's customer service skills were excellent and really helped put me at ease while exploring a new country.
