Ripped off Manchester!!! Don’t come here. I’m driving traveling to Manchester. I phone to the restaurant asking quick & easy takeaway CHICKEN BRIYANI. And mention on the phone that I would like to pay by card because I don’t carry cash enough. Everything was fine on the phone. When I got in to the restaurant. I was asking to sit today and wait. I ask the waiter to pay for my order while I wait. Waiter respond to me “just sit down” soon later waiter came and inform me that they have problem with card machine can I pay them Cash? I reply nicely “I don’t have cash”. Waiter go back and bring another card machine which is the same machine that he said it has an issue…
Waiter place to bill and rushing me to pay but when I look at the bill there’s 12.5% added. I asked why service charge was added? He doesn’t say reason why, just said “ok I take it off”???? He come back with correct bill and price then I pay by contactless. I checked in the bag there’s 500ml plastic container, rice soak with sweet curry, 4 pieces chicken, look like chicken briyani. I ask for cutlery waiter told me that “oh they don’t have any cutlery” straightaway after they don’t get service charge from me. I insisted that I can’t eat because I don’t have spare cutlery and I need it to eat the food that I just order. Then he go to have word with main man, I believe, behind counter bar. They have short secret conversations the the main man went to kitchen and grab plastic fork and spoon put in the bag for me with cheeky smile.
Tax Evasion? Greedy for tip & service charge. Not honest

Read moreA Hyderabadi all my life so you can't keep me away from Biryani..no matter which corner of the earth I reside in I will always look for Biryani. While there are many Asain restaurants around, the menu card looked interesting. Has a good variety of dishes to pick from. I always look for pictures so my advice is always always have pics up for customers. Honestly I was tempted looking at the pics. So I tried the Lamb and Chicken Biryani I must say by far the best food I had on my short stay in Manchester. The biryani was just about right interms of spice, the aroma was all around my kitchen. Maybe I was too hungry and felt the quantity was a bit low. But then again like I said I was hungry so the quantity may be enough. You won't really know until you actually order yourself 😎 Their service was quick, polite and friendly. I took a take away but the place inside looked very comfortable and felt warm. Was decorated well with Indian decor (could have been another Asian country decor but looked Indian to me). All in all my friends are visiting again thanks to the Biryani and that's definitely gonna be my stop the next time I am in Manchester. I liked the boss/manager sweet uncle spoke well and had a smile. After all that's what one looks for in people a smile and...
Read moreWe went there today with my family of 5, our very first time in Manchester and what a disappointment it was. We were treated very differently to the other customers! Initially the manager told us he’ll have to check if they could serve us as they were closing earlier then he told us we’ll have to order straightaway. Feeling quite uneasy, we proceeded as we were all very tired (my son has special needs and my mum couldn’t walk). We were seated at a table of 4!As we waited for our orders to be taken, we felt quite conscious our the way we were treated. After we’d ordered, more customers came in and we didn’t hear the manager or any other employees tell them about any of the nonsense we were told! Then the manager came to settle the 4 new customers and moved the table very close to my chair and when I turn d around, he said he’ll come and sort things out for me (which he never did). We felt the discrimination all the way through and just because some of us looked Asian! A discount doesn’t undo the damage done! We will never set foot...
