Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

isited Costa Coffee recently and was very disappointed with the service I received from the manager. I ordered a flat white with less milk, which should be made with full-fat milk. However, the manager told me she only had skimmed milk in the fridge and asked if it was okay to use that instead. When I said no, she went upstairs to get the full-fat milk but did so with attitude, making it clear she wasn’t happy about it.

Throughout the interaction, she didn’t smile or offer a warm welcome, and when I reminded her that I’d asked for less milk, she looked annoyed. My drink was also not made as I requested in the end.

Honestly the nicest Costa workers in any Costa in MK I've been to. They're always so friendly which is impressive given how busy this store is. The upstairs dining area is the best thing about this store. It's laid out so nicely and is the perfect place to sit and work in. This costa opens early too so you can get a drink in the morning. I would say the food is better than the drinks as a general thing about costa, just because I prefer different coffee. But that is no fault of this store itself as they make drinks well to a high standard every time. We were waiting a long while to catch a train home after a long, long day of shopping in MK for Christmas. This Costa were shutting up but the manager/lady in charge that evening took the time to serve us our much needed coffees & chatted away to us. She fave us some great local knowledge & we were looking for certain shops, she told us about every retail park, I think, within a 10 mile radius! My drink was complicated & I apologised for it but was made to feel absolutely welcome & not yo worry about time it took. This lady & the guy also serving that evening deserve a promotion!
