We were seated at a table which is basically in the walkway and right by the dusty stairs - so unhygenic. This is a spot that shouldn’t have a table in it at all! At first I didn’t complain but then when a table became available as we hadn’t ordered our food yet I asked the waitress if we could move to the table they just cleared before another diner came in. She said no and then when I insisted she said we would have to go and ask her manager. He was hosting at the door so wasn’t about, I asked her to ask him as time was of the essence I didn’t want to lose the chance to change our table and I shouldn’t have to run around the restaurant getting permissing to move tables. She didn’t even attempt to ask him but lied about asking him and said she would prove it. He told me no one asked him before and that’s why it was now too late! The other people were seated and I was told it was too late. Anyway long story short I was shut down by both the waitress and the manager said there was nothing he could do either even though there were now other tables empty for ten minutes. I asked a young man behind the cash desk who swiftly cleaned a new table for us and we sat down. The manager (the host at the door) and the Eastern European woman refused to give me their names and the manager said it’s Valentine’s Day let’s not do this (!) the waitress is in the wrong job she has no customer service skills and the manager is apparently too busy to do anything for anyone other than the customers being put on the waiting list for a table. Appalling behaviour tonight I will go to another Nando’s in future!
Finally got their names as the manager finally had time to talk to me! Too little too late! Dana is the rude disgraceful person who needs a different job and Richard is the manager who isn’t capable of...
Read moreWent there yesterday early afternoon, first walked in got seated quickly, but then went to order had to wait as they were to busy talking and giggling to each other, then saw that not one person who worked there had a hairnet or anything to keep there hair out of the food, one girl had fake eyelashes that could of come off in the food, I went to order and put that to the back of my mind as I enjoy nandos and wanted this to eat. Ordering was fine. Then didn't have hardly any drinks in the machine working, then we got our sauces but not all sauces were there for us to enjoy, then we got our starters both not cooked properly and one tasted of rubber, the naan bread looked like it chucked on the plate not toasted at all, had to send then both back, then had manager over to apologise which was fine, then naan bread couldn't even bite into it as was rock hard, then asked the lady to take it back and just find out what's going on as I know what they're supposed to look like and taste like as I go often and have the same, then lady with false eyelashes, no hairnet came over with attitude saying this is what were getting because it's what we asked for, at that point other lady came over and said she'll take it back and get a new one that I didn't break my teeth on, then it go to mains, me and friend both asked for Peri salted chips and got plain and i asked plain with no chilli jam or anything apart from chicken and lettuce and they put didn't take anything out so I then basically didn't eat anything because it wasn't what I ordered. I have now been poorly today and being sick and I hadn't ate anything else yesterday after the nandos as I had to work. I am do disappointed in this visit as has put me off nandos as don't want to feel this poorly ever again. Don't recommend at...
Read moreSo...let's begin. Disgusting corporation with no respect for customers. We placed an order online for collection. Wings and chips. Nothing special. 30 minutes for prep. Ok. We go there and wait another 30 minutes. I ended up approaching an employee to find out what is happening because it didn't look busy at all. What was going on? Well... 3 young lads in the kitchen doing nothing. NOTHING! Going to the till and back to the grill with a piece of tongs in their hand. I watched them for the whole time being there. The whole 30 minutes! They behaved like their nanny punished them to be there. Hey Nando's, train your staff! Raise their hourly pay or send them home and get some decent workforce. I have been in the food industry for over 7 years now and I had never seen someone so disengaged and lethargic like them 3 fellas. Now I feel bad for not taking their names to let the world know who to call in case someone needs nobody to do nothing for them. Shout-out to the manager who was trying to step up and get things done. By herself. Food was decent. But then again...it was some wings. Pre-marinated and cooked on a child-safe grill. If you know how to breathe, you know how to cook it. See you next year Nando's! (Yeah...those wings taste like...Nando's. I'll still have some every...
