Arrived on time and had to find our table as no staff available to show us to our booked table. Waited around 15 minutes for service after having to ask if we was required to order at the bar for the bottomless brunch, but was told we would be served soon. within an hour we had only had 2 drinks each (not very bottomless as we was ready to order after 5 minutes of receiving each round as very hot inside) After around an hour, a member of staff came to take our food order, as then as we started ordering, we was then informed they didn't have any pizza bases (which was ⅓ of the menu we could order from) and was not offered anything to substitute this even though 6 members of our party was going to order pizza. We ordered drinks and food at the same time and recieved food first as drink service was exceptionally slow and a member of staff actually came to take a drink order whilst we was waiting for drinks as we had been without them for so long. They actually ran out of drink glasses so they were unable to complete orders (even though we was on a 2 hour time limit). They did give us an extra 15 minutes to try to compensate for this, but ultimately we spent well over half of our allocated time waiting for service or drinks. When it came time to pay I went up to the bar and they tried to charge me £534! (The total remaining after the paid deposit should have been £201) After I questioned this they did rectify it and informed me it was an error, but ultimately, the whole experience was awful. The toilets also had no toilet paper and smelt awful.

Edit Thank you for the reply, my apologies for not seeing your email regarding preordering food as it ended up in my spam. We did not have 9 drinks per...

This review is for the very poor communication and complete lack of empathy for my query. The reason I contacted them was for my daughter, as she has severe dairy and egg allergies. I actually found them through the Allergy Companions website. I sent them an email explaining the situation and to be fair, I got a swift response from the manager, Laura. I'm afraid to say, it was the usual "check the menu" response, which I seem to get from most of the bigger chains (except Hickory's, who are fantastic every time we go). Very poor. Anyway, rather than send another email, I decided to speak to Laura the next day, just to give her a chance to explain. When I called Faraday's, Laura was on a day off and I spoke to a girl called "Ellie". I explained the situation and the response I'd had from Laura and to be perfectly honest, she didn't have a clue about allergies/food contamination, etc. I then asked to speak to someone in charge and she said it was her! So you have someone in charge, that has no idea about something that could potentially kill someone. It absolutely blew my mind. So, next step was to find out who actually owned/ran this pub. It was the Stonegate group. I found the head office number and called it. I instantly got a recorded message saying that I couldn't speak to anyone. Please bear in mind this was a weekday, during the day. I duly left a message explaining everything and also all my contact details. That was 2 weeks and I have yet to receive any kind of response. I could've emailed, but anyone can hide behind those, I actually wanted to speak to someone, which I should be able to, with something as serious as this, or at least someone getting back to me. I'm not holding my...

I always give venues a chance to reply to feedback before posting reviews as I’m not a huge fan of leaving them but with the lack of response I felt it was necessary this time. On the build up to booking this event the booking team were quite pushy and very responsive in replies to get us to book but as soon as an issue has occurred they seem to be missing in action. We booked this space for my 30th in late November for an arrival time of 7pm for about a70 people. We arrived at 6:45pm to find the room in an absolute state with food all over the floors and bar area, drinks spilt everywhere and people still sat around having bottomless brunch. The staff didn’t seem to be aware of the booking and called over a manager who seemed to have the approach of “What do you want me to do, I can’t just kick people out.” After waiting around for a while for them to move people on. It was eventually around 19:30 that they’d finished “cleaning” the room which we could then finally let out guests up. The tables were still sticky, the bar was still a mess and it took them about another 15 minutes to sort our first drinks out which was just some bottles of champagne out the fridge. They also proceeded to run out of a lot of essentials behind the bar too, which probably worked against them in the end as we would have spent more if they’d had a fully stocked bar. I’ve booked a few venues in Nottingham for parties and to say we’d probably put well over a £1000 behind the bar that night, it was disappointing to see how disorganised and sticky...

They have board games!!! Jenga, Stare and word puzzles. Please invest in Scrabble 😊 The staff is super friendly and the starters are good. I recommend the chicken wings, but I was not very happy with the prawn cakes. There are lots of TVs to watch sporting events. Good selection of beer and there are some daily opportunities. I got the two for one cocktail night. In general I had a good experience at Faradays Nottingham and if you are ever looking for a calm place to hang out on a Monday night, do go there!

Faraday's is a great bar in the middle of the la e market area. Great location for meeting a few friends for drinks and/or food. The menu looks great, not eaten here but will add it to the list to eat at next. I did have a sundae and that was fantastic, great value too was only £4. The drinks here are brilliant, great cocktail menu, have to recommend the Mai Tai, honestly it's the best I've ever had, and it's 241 all day every day. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

My first time at Faraday's, popped in with my son for a quick bite to eat, friendly staff, excellent customer service, and the atmosphere is very cosy. If I could fault anything it would only be that I ordered the Earth salad, with quorn chicken (as a vegan alternative to chicken) however, it was only on my way that I realized my salad was missing the Quorn chicken 😁 never mind though, we had a pleasant experience and would definitely dine here again...
