Finally we have good hot pot in Oxford! The two of us had a big pot of food each, which came to £49. They’re doing a 25% discount in their first week of opening, so it was £37 which was very good value!
The selection of food was great! Very good quality. I find if you go to a “unlimited hot pot” place the quality/selection is usually not great, whereas here they do it by weight (£2.99/100g). I got the tomato soup broth, it was so good!!
It’s different in that, here you just pick everything you want then they’ll cook it for you in a pot in the broth that you want. I suppose it’s good in a way, because you don’t have to do anything the food just comes. But it’s weird for me, because that’s not what I think “hot pot” is.

The concept here is that you build your own hot pot, and pricing is based on the weight of what you choose—we understood this going in.
That said, we were surprised at how little meat and vegetables we actually received for the price. At £30 per person, it felt quite expensive compared to the portion size.
This isn’t meant to discourage anyone from going—the staff were friendly and the food itself was good. Just be mindful of the weight-based pricing, as it can add up quickly, and in our experience, it didn’t feel like great value...
