First time I have been to an Indian restaurant that did not want to upsell. Normally not a bad thing, but when you are out for a meal it would be nice to be asked if we wanted any more drinks, hot or cold or a dessert. Ordered, the dip platter. Now normally I order poppadoms and get the dips with it. So we got something green so asked where everything else was. So out came 2 more dips. No poppadoms, we asked for these and was asked if we had ordered them. Which we hadn't to be fair but as I told them, I expected it to come with the dips'. Anyway the food was ok. No complaints there. When we finished the plates were taken away and while we sat there the table was wiped down. So we now waited for the dessert menu. 3 staff walked past, and no they were not busy. Not one asked if we wanted a coffee or dessert. The waiter came after 10 more minutes with the bill. Would definitely not use again or recommend. No atmosphere, no extras like hand wash towels, no small candle heaters for keeping the meal on as in all others, basically would have been better going...
Read moreDisappointing. Slow service- took awhile for drinks to come out, had to order poppadums these ideally should have been offered at the same time as drinks. Food took awhile to come out, one of the orders was wrong (chicken but should have been lamb) to the credit of the Indian they did cook up some lamb but this individual had to wait. I had a tikka masala and this was disappointing - it was an orange colour. At all the other Indians I’ve been too and I’ve been to a lot it’s always pink and full of flavour. This was orange and not full of flavour. One of our group ordered a Pasanda and he said this was very peanutty and tasted the same as my Tikka but with peanuts. After the meal he checked the recipe online and there is no peanuts. I booked this Indian due to the overwhelming positive reviews online which scored it the highest in Plymouth! This isn’t the highest- it wasn’t bad but I...
Read moreI had went in for dinner here and it was amazing food, ambiance and staff. From the moment you walk in your will be greeted with very friendly and cozy family themed interior design which personally I love because even if you go eat there alone it doesn't feel lonely. The food was just amazing I loved everything Abt it I had gotten the jiraa rice, chicken chili, chicken sadeko, chicken momo, the king prawn Kathmandu, sheerpa khasi, chicken saslic. All of them came in right time intervals from the starter to the mains so that you have some time to really enjoy your starters. All the staff were sooo friendly and the service was great. All in all a very great experience and I would encourage others to try as well if they are craving to have Nepalese/ indian...
