GOURMET PERI PERI — Restaurant in Portsmouth

I am a regular customer of gourmet Peri peri and ordered from Uber eats. I ordered a 1.5L Diet Coke but was given a small can instead. Absolutely not a big deal, mistakes happen all the time, gave the benefit of doubt to call up rather than immediately ask for refund through the app. I call and explain what’s happened they said they’d talk to their manager and call me back, which is fine and fair. After 10 minutes still haven’t heard anything back so I call them because it’s a simple thing of wanting my drink, which they could check on the Uber eats app given that I gave details of what I ordered to sort it out. Again same thing on the call “talking to manager I will call you back.” I didn’t want to bombard their phone so I just wait to see if anything arrives at my door. Then nothing for 30 mins at this point I’ve already finished the food, we didn’t even want to necessarily order food we simply wanted to order a large drink as it’s 12:30am so we had to just add some food on the side to get it delivered. I then called after 30 mins and absolutely the same thing, even this time I was immediately hung up on. At this point it’s their closing time and it’s clear they never even bothered to sort out a simple mistake on their behalf. Nothing ever turned up, I don’t appreciate getting lied to and wasting my time. Lost a regular customer now...

We had a fantastic experience at Gourmet Peri Peri on Albert Road. The food was fresh and full of flavor – from the juicy grilled chicken to the delicious wraps and burgers, everything was cooked perfectly. The hot and medium sauces were packed with just the right amount of heat and taste – a must-try for spice lovers!

The portion sizes were generous, especially the sides, which made the meal even more satisfying. Both the male and female staff were friendly, efficient, and handled customer service with professionalism and a smile. The shop itself was clean and well-maintained, including the washroom – a big plus!

Prices were very reasonable for the quality and amount of food offered. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended if you're in the area and craving some...

I recently dined at Gourmet peri peri, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the warm ambiance to the exceptional service, everything exceeded my expectations.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend the whole chicken BBQ —it was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The milkshake was also outstanding.

The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for casual dining
