Went in for lunch today, was very surprised how much there was in a meal - the sides are a lot more filling than I'd thought. We had expected for the price (given how much food costs these days) it would be a lunch snack, but it really was a full meal!

So I cannot fault the value for money, and I definitely can't fault the food! Great selection, cooked perfectly. The chilli peas were a real surprise. The mash, if taken on its own, is a bit standard, but I found that if you mix it with the gravy or liquor it goes down a treat. Speaking of which, kudos for doing the gravy at the right consistency! Nice and thick as it should be.

Decor inside is lovely, but the outside needs a little oomph to match. Sit in if you can, and hopefully the outside will look a treat in the months to come.

One word of feedback if I may, the menu (which, btw, is super clear to read and easy to follow) could benefit from a couple well-placed photos to really show off what we can expect. They're done in a comic book style and I am sure that would really work well with it.

Keep up the...

Looked forward to a new classic pie shop to the town. Ordered some iced tea (driving) which is £2.95 but they served us a drink which I think is powdered flavoured tea and tap water. No ice or garnish. Asked for ice but later they said they had none so they had to go and buy some. I’m assuming they had no ice for a while as others sat down had no ice in their drinks. Partner ordered Asahi beer which was £6.50 a pint. Bottle of cider was £5.25 which I felt was a bit steep. I wouldn’t say it’s value for money compared to other pie places in the area however there is a large range of pie choices. Some of the pie choices and pizza were not available which is strange after an hour of opening. The seating in here felt very cramped. If you are a larger table I would book ahead. No one asked about allergies or how the meal was. Cutlery was served after the meal was with only one thin napkin for two people. I would say okay but would not...

WOW – What a fantastic place to eat! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the incredible Imogen, our waitress for the evening. She was extremely polite, attentive, and took the time to guide us through the menu with thoughtful suggestions – a truly lovely host. The cocktails were absolutely spot-on, adding an extra touch to an already wonderful experience. A huge thank you to Nathan, the chef, for the delicious dinner – every bite was packed with flavour and clearly made with care. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would recommend this place to everyone. We’ll definitely be...

Piecaramba! Is absolutely delicious and brilliant its definitely worth the money me and my mother went to try it out for the 1st time because we are on holiday and dont live in Southsea and when we got inside the lady at the bar was ever so friendly and kind and let us sit at a table that was reserved for a later time and also on a Monday it was 2 for 1 so we ordered our food and when it came the presentation was good and it was ever so tasty and delicious we both ordered the beef pie and mash with beans and gravy it was definitely worth it and we will most definitely be going there again.

The inside of this place is lovely, there are booth that have OG games on it so you don't get bored when waiting for food (which isn't a long wait). The staff were very friendly and accommodating however, their pie was bad. I got their creamy chicken, ham and leak pie and I didn't see any leak nor was it creamy. It was the driest pie I've ever had so I wouldn't recommend it. The pizza was really good though, we got the fat tony in Detroit style, it was dense, filling and yummy but it was also too expensive for the portion you got. Overall, I wouldn't go back.
