The woman in the counter was very rude . I was in the queue with my toddler son today, in front of us was two ladies and two ladies behind us ,whilst the woman in the counter was busy I approached the man (also in the counter) asking nicely if I could pay for my son fruit shoot. The woman then told me with the tune I need to be in the queue! Okay said nicely then,I then back to the queue ,then was shouting RUDELY at me with my son that we need to be in the queue behind the two ladies behind us. Decent Costa branch in Southsea. I don't usually go into Costa as I'm not a huge coffee fan, but I attended a few times last week while I stayed with a friend nearby. The service was quick and the shop is fairly clean and welcoming. Problem is its a little hit and miss in terms of the quality of what you get. The few times I came in recently, I found out the quality depends on what staff member is working, which is frustrating because of cource you're paying the same price each time. A male employee made my friend a decent Frappé, then the next time we came in, a different employee made a watered down cup of nothing. Bit of training is needed here and...

I've visited for several weeks now around 9am at the beginning of the week and although it's never that busy at that time, when the two 'lads' are serving, they are really slow to acknowledge you and appear pretty lethargic and fairly unwelcoming to the point that I was seconds away from walking out of the store on my last visit. There is no shortage of other establishments nearby so they need to up their game smartly. The coffee is the usual standard and hot which it should be. The place is spacious and has a few nooks you can hide yourself out of view. A variety of different seating from hard to soft chairs is available but the overall atmosphere...
