First time ordering from Lebanese Village via Uber Eats, and I was pleasantly surprised! I went for the special mixed grill (perfect portion for one) which included grilled lamb and chicken breast cubes, a minced lamb skewer, lamb rib, one lamb chop, rice with vermicelli, plus garlic and chili sauce. The meat was cooked beautifully, moist, flavourful, and the lamb rib was tender, falling off the bone. The grilled cubes were packed with flavour, and I loved how they layered everything on top of the rice so the juices soaked in. Even as a takeaway, it arrived fresh, well-packaged, and still delicious on delivery. If I had to nitpick, it only came with one lamb chop and I would’ve liked some grilled vegetables on the side to balance it out. But overall, a really enjoyable meal, now I’m excited to visit the restaurant in person! Update: I’ve added more photos after dining at the restaurant recently. Houmous Avurma was so tasty!

This restaurant is serving the best Lebanese food I've had with 100% authentic flavors. We started out with Fatoush, Hummus & Baba Ghanoush. The fatoush was tangy as it should be. The hummus was perfect on flavor and texture. The Baba Ghanoush had a "roasted" flavor which is essential for that perfect flavor. For the entrée we order the Mixed Grill for Two.... which is actually enough to feed three or four people. The meats were grilled to perfection and were juicy, tender and succulent. Delicious and finger-licking good. The service was personal, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and the top notch service.

The food making process is very lengthy over 30 minutes, so make sure you order your starter straight away . The starter can’t be faulted really good, the mix grill and the homous but they were stingy with the bread tray as only 2 were given on a table sitting 9 people. The main are a write off , lamb shank and chicken tangin I do not recommend at all food was cold and not flavourful. I been to many lebanese restaurants and they were much better. At the end a complimentary tea or small dessert was not offered especially when we spent over £270. Overall the atmosphere is a vibe , but expect the manager the whole staff was really stuck up and not friendly and approachable at all .

Thought we'd try this place to support a local restaurant. We ordered our starters - 6 chicken wings for £11.95!!!!! Although the wings were tasty - the price...Really? Mind you looking at the bill now I realise the listed price was 9.95 so they overcharged me

Calamari (about 5 rings) came with a side of Red onions and the Squid - (very small portion ) came fried again with red onions.... priced at close to £6 and £7...

My husband had a moussaka priced at about £13.50 (listed on menu at 12.55) which he said was bland I ordered a Lamb okra dish that came with a side of a rice dish - don't even know where to start... the rice mixed with pasta was over salted... there was no lamb in the "lamb dish" When I pointed this out, they tried to say i ordered the okra dish without lamb - they then checked the order and saw that i was correct - they took it away to return with it about 5 mins later - the menu said lamb cubes - what i got were some shavings off a lamb kebab (3 in total) in a vegetable dish that was priced at £15.95!!!! (listed on menu at 14.95)

When I pointed out all the above to the lady who was on service, she said Aww sorry...

No apologies but someone brought a plate of 4 Baklavas (which was clearly stale) to the table and said this was to make up for the dish...

We were so disappointed that we just paid and left without realising that we had been terribly overcharged - which i will be calling them about...

We paid well over £50 and that's not checking the discount or service charges.... A note at the end of the bill says items marked * has service charges - so you're charged twice essentially... 17.5% on the food items

Altogether this was such a disappointment - not to mention that there are no safety measure in place due to COVID-19

ROBBERY AT IT'S BEST!!! AVOID IF YOU CAN... WE HAD A MUCH NICER MEAL WITH MORE MORE CHOICE AT THE THAI ROUND THE CORNER FOR A HELL OF A LOT LESS MONEY AND BETTER TASTING...

Worst restaurant for valentines day , group of 4 booked to eat we were given a menu and when ordering the food we are told there is only a set menu now set menu is £27 . BUT 3 of us have to order it now with that understanding we would get a lot of food but NO we got 1 platter with 1 extra halloumi and fallafel so thats 3 . After waiting 1 hour we got our main course mixed grill plater which again not even for 2 . We had more customers sat next to us another group of 4 and they could choose from the menu. We saw this and asked why can they do this and we cant and they said no today is set menu only we looked at them they told us they had booked and they let them change it , too much confusion manager was called lied to us saying they walked it but customer told him NO they had booked too . We had no apology no nothing and kept lying to us in-front of other customers which were looking up like what the hell this is just completely wrong everyone had different foods and yes some where sold this set menu only and for us its not right so never again . This restaurant is off limits because they will try to get money out of you lying to you and making you look dumb , food was not all that took too long and drinks too my husband was served a room temp beer , in which when he asked for a cold one he was asked if he wanted ICE . This restaurant is a...

What a wonderful restaurant! The biggest complaint I can make is that I live too far away to visit regularly. Our party of four - two from Reading and the others from Cornwall - opted for the fixed menu and what a treat we had. Three of us with excellent appetites couldn't finish what was put before us. But it wasn't just quantity it was mostly about the quality as the flavours and wonderful food amazed us. My personal favourite was the chicken cubes and chilli sauce in the Mains. On the downside the service could have been sharper and the automatically charged 10% service supplement may upset some. Parking can be a challenge but there are bays outside the pub around the corner that are good in the evenings and the tyre company almost opposite has space they don't use in the evenings. Anybody with limited mobility will struggle as one of the steps in is quite high. I would certainly go again and our two young friends who recently moved into the area were equally...
