I had breakfast with my father in law this morning. It was my first visit, but my father in law had been here a long long time ago. Anyway, the food was great! Yummy and good portions. The place was cozy. One thing that I had issue with was this:

My father in law ordered an ā€œearly birdā€ breakfast that cost something like Ā£6 or Ā£6.20. I ordered a ā€œspecialā€ that cost Ā£9.50. I was shocked when the food arrived and they were exactly the same. I didn’t ask the lady at the till at that point (perhaps I should, but we both are very shy and don’t want to make a fuss in public, like having social anxiety) My father in law and I were trying to make sense of this and came up with this: maybe that’s what ā€œearly birdā€ means, that if you order before a certain time you get a discount when you order a ā€œspecialā€ (from Ā£9.50 to Ā£6.20). But if that was the case, the lady at the till should really mention this while we placed our orders. I felt like I was cheated and the till lady hadn’t been honest.

I would have given this place a five stars if not because of this because the food was really great, such a shame! I’m not sure I will come again because this incident will probably stay with me for...

I was having breakfast here just five minutes a go. Got an important call from the doctor and couldn't hear anything because a group of costumers were so loud. I asked one of them politely to give me just ten seconds to try to understand my doctor on the other side of the line. They quickly started to throw threats at me. They said the would smash my face and my phone right there, that they would wait for me outside to beat me up. The staff did nothing about it, they where actually friends. I will never come back here, and will warn everyone I know to never ever step in this place. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had in the uk. Although I was a client, this thugs could literally murder me in front of the staff and they would do nothing about it. Actually I went back to ask them how could this happen and one of the staff members told me to go online and file a complaint. I asked her who was the owner and she said she...

Ordered vegetarian breakfast was firstly brought over buttered white bread surprised by that - it promptly was replaced with 'buttered' wholemeal. Then breakfast arrived part cold (from the served tomatoes) part warm for the rest of the produce. No choice of herbal teas it's either coffee or tea (the version of soya milk served - curdles in the coffee). It's a no nonsense budget cafe for the area which is reflected in its products and price. It's reasonably clean but smoky from the cooking (could do with a good extractor fan). My clothes still smelled after I'd left the premises and I was sat at the...

A very well priced caffe. Well staffed, the breakfasts were by no means small. Well cooked and the cups of tea were big. Interesting interior, somewhere between an American dinner, an Austrian ski shop and your classic greasy spoon. Highly recommend this place if your feeling a little delicate from a night of frivolities or if your just sick of frequenting your local overpriced hipster breakfast bar. Five stars for me.

Over priced, cheap horrible ingredients. And not the cleanest of places. £8.80 for two sausages, two bacon, a slice of fried bread, beans and a "free" drink.. Morrisons of all places offer the same amount if not more for over £2 less. With much better ingredients and in a cleaner environment. I shall not be returning. Such a shame. This little place used to be a mecca for the hungover and early awake
