If i could rate the service a 0 stars i would. Indian middle aged lady at the tills was SO RUDE !!! Starbucks you should be ashamed that you employ people that lack such professionalism. My sister ordered a Cold foam iced cappuccino and asked for it to have less sugar syrup ( her lack of knowledge on how the drinks were made ) The lady sarcastically utters back “sugar syrup?” So my sister said can you please make the drink less sweet. Continuously in a conniving tone she says the sugar is outside not in the drink. Instead of explaining that there is no added sugar in the drink so her request was not possible, instead ridicules us for asking the question. I then made a comment that the sarcasm was rude and not appreciated, in which she turned around and started accusing US of being rude? I ask her to scan my loyalty points and she just puts the transaction to the card terminal, i then reiterated for her to scan my Starbucks loyalty app in which she then did as if she was doing me a favour. After paying she again says to me “You are the rude one”. I would like to note i did not raise my voice, swear nor was i disrespectful i had simply stated her sarcasm was rude and not appreciated. Read moreI’m really disappointed with my recent experience at this Starbucks. I ordered two Chocolate Babychinos and a Matcha Latte. The bartender charged me £4 each for the Chocolate Babychinos without confirming the price, which I found strange since I usually get them for free at drive-throughs or other Starbucks locations. The bartender was not friendly at all—no greeting, no offer of a receipt unless I asked for one.
When I received my drinks, I was surprised to find that the Chocolate Babychino didn’t taste like chocolate at all. It was mostly milk with very little chocolate flavor. I asked the bartender about this, and her response was defensive, saying I should buy a bigger size if I wanted it to taste more like chocolate. This is not the level of customer service or product quality I expect from Starbucks.
What also stood out to me was the feeling that I was treated differently, possibly because I'm not British. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, as though I was being judged. After reading other reviews, it seems like I’m not the only one who’s had a similar experience. Very poor service, quality, and a questionable atmosphere at this location.
