Bar 91 — Restaurant in Scotland

Went for lunch yesterday. It was freezing as all the doors fully opened but then closed the side door but still cold. Ordered a chicken burger which I had to send back. Unable to bite it as it was overcooked. Changed order to a beef burger to which I was asked did I want a fresh bun?? Considering the waiter picked the chicken burger out with his gingers to return to the kitchen of course I wanted a fresh bun! This was nice though had to eat after my partner had already finished his fish and chips by time it came. We got 2 drinks to compensate which was fair enough though left half as too cold to drink it! Brilliant service: friendly and chilled staff. Came here for lunch at approx 11:30 on a Saturday morning and had a full breakfast which was fresh, tasty and well-prepared. We were the only one there at that time with my friend so we did not have to wait long for our food and drinks. It's also located in a convenient and nice area. The interior is cool and the atmosphere is cozy. There are some tables available outside as well (covered terrace.) We started coming to Bar91 when it very first opened in 1995. It was always a perfect lunch/drink stop when on our day trips to Glasgow. We returned once again yesterday for our wedding anniversary lunch and got the warmest of welcomes from the staff who made our lunch extra special. The food has gone up a notch (it was always great) they are serving delicious Mexican plates - the meatballs so tasty! & the menu of the tastiest tacos we’ve had for a long long time. The regular menu is still on point inc the ever good burgers.
