Caffè Nero St Vincent Plaza, Glasgow Friday 11th July 2025 Outstanding service from Susan who is the manager We regularly visit this branch and it is clear the level of service, presentation, cleanliness and customer satisfaction are driven by the leadership of its manager. We know she has been recognised by the Company at the highest level and it’s clear they have recognised the outstanding talents of this dedicated and committed manager At our most recent visit on the 11th July Susan served us. She was as always friendly, efficient with an attitude that nothing was too much trouble. She has a warm and welcoming style and I would imagine most customers would be delighted by her. Often we are quick to complain if something or somebody doesn’t deliver the standard of service or performance we expect. 19th October, about 3 pm we visited the store. A lovely guy with a mullet style haircut served us, he was great. however, when we wanted our drinks to be popped into takeaway cups my partner asked a lady standing at the food display (as the kind young man serving was quite busy) if that would be okay, her response was to point at the till, without even looking at my partner, and said “ask at the bar please”. quite a rude exchange, not very customer focused. she then proceeded to ignore the queue of people and not help the other barista or even acknowledge customers. as two baristas, we find this unnecessarily rude, i understand some customers are a nightmare to deal with but we always try our best to be polite and pleasant as we are both from a service background. just a bit rude...

Always a very relaxed place for a coffee. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The music isn't intrusive, and the added bonus is there aren't laptop loungers everywhere. You know the sort - one of them takes up a table for 4, for hours on end, and never buys anything other than one small drink.

Ignore the previous view from the guy who thought he could sit in a cafe, not buying anything, and play the usual "woe is me" tune when asked to leave. They're running a business here, not a...
