Extremely disappointed in The Grahamston. Firstly, totally taken aback to discover it's inside a Radisson (our general rule of thumb is to avoid hotel restaurants unless it's a dining emergency, as in nothing else is available, or a part of small, boutique hotel with a unique pub). We had to wander the hotel lobby for the entrance as there was no marking for the restaurant and no hostess station to say "Hello, welcome to The Grahamston." We had to stand by the bar, hope we were in the right place, and wait for acknowledgement. The atmosphere was far from what you see online. They present themselves as a swank joint in their imagery, and we dressed accordingly, but as a hotel restaurant, their diners were about as formal as folks in a backwoods sports bar. There was even some random dude slumped over a table either talking on his phone or watching YouTube videos (with the volume annoyingly loud), who was not eating or drinking - just hanging around. Secondly, the food left a lot to be desired. I mean a whole lot. They're trying way too hard to impress with the visuals and not concentrating on making tasty food. They have a "sourdough" bread app option that in no way, shape, or form could be considered a sourdough. It was a big roll of plain flour and water baked bread. My bone-in pork chop was a half-inch (if even) slice of pork that by weight was more gristle and fat than edible meat. Being thin, meant overcooked too. Had to ask for a steak knife just to saw through it. Lacked any kind of seasoning at all. I ordered a side of fries that was not delivered until after I asked about it and after I was almost finished with my meal. My wife ordered the sea bass which consisted of two tiny pieces of fish flesh that maybe if put together was the size of an iPhone 3 and less thick. She said the flavor was okay, but dry, and not nearly enough protein to make it worth the effort. She's a small portion eater to begin with and I usually finish off her plate, but this time the portions were so minimal that she pretty much ate all my fries and polished off the bread just to satisfy her hunger. Finally, The Grahamston's only redeeming quality was our server, Dawn. This Hungarian immigrant was one of the sweetest, nicest people we have dined with on our recent travels. None of the negatives of this restaurant were on her and she went above and beyond in every way. From her sweet smile to her genuine appreciation for us, she was wonderful and a pure joy. I truly wish I had done my due diligence on looking deeper at The Grahamston's online reviews. Perhaps we could have avoided having our last night in Scotland end on such a disappointing sour note.

After a long day, I stopped by Grahamston Kitchen hoping for a bit of quiet relaxation. The space itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere—perfect for unwinding. I went up to the bar to place my order, opting for a mango mousse that sounded quite promising on the menu. While service was a little on the slower side, I didn’t mind too much as the vibe of the place was calm and inviting. It was just a light dessert this time, but it made for a sweet end to the evening.

Me and my friend booked the festive meal for two for our annual Christmas meal and were blown away by our experience. Our waitress Dawnski was so accommodating and gave us amazing service. The food was sooo delicious, can’t fault anything. We really enjoyed our time at the Grahamston and will 100% be back (thanks to Dawnski) Thank you so much x

The grahamston was a disaster! We have had it booked for a couple weeks as a treat and it didn't go well! After reading glowing reviews in the herald about the menu as soon as we got there and were given the bar menu we were deflated, we were really looking foreward to a fancy meal! deciding to stay after a long day in town and it being sat night in glasgow finding somewhere else to eat would have been tough, staying was the wrong idea! The really nice menu wasn't available for the night for whatever rwason only the bar menu! We were told the kitchen printer broke and our order didn't go through but the bar never made our drinks order also so I think the busy server forgot to ring in our order completely! I'm a sous chef I have worked hospitality my whole life i know how it goes! It took just over 1 hour and a quarter to get the food, the haggis bon bons were decent, and we had to ask for the drinks again so they took just under an hour and a half to get us 2 colas! we ate the mains and left. went to morrisons on the way home for snacks because we were still hungry! didn't want to stay after the main course! We got a discount and the colas for free but it was a disaster! all the tables around us seemed to have a great time! Won't be back again!! Was meant to be a great end to a...

Went here today 12/07/25. The lovely Karen greeted us at the door. Our server today was Samuel. What a lovely young man. Nothing was too much bother for him. He was friendly and helpful. We had come in on a scorching hot day for afternoon tea. There was plenty of savoury bites to choose from. From sandwiches to haggis in a pastry, quiches too. Loads of sweet cakes, mini strawberry tarts, profiteroles, tablet, macaroon, scones. So much deliciousness. All refreshed frequently. Copious amounts of tea always at hand and ice cold water on hand too. Well done to the whole team involved. Can't wait to do it all again. Thanks again Samuel for your...
