Muffin Break — Restaurant in Scotland

I never leave bad reviews but the experience I had today was at least shocking. We visited the cafe with a friend, we had both cakes and coffees. We had to leave urgently, and we returned 35min after to St Enoch shopping centre I wanted to use the loo as my stomach was feeling really upset. The senior woman( owner I guess with the grey hair) After I asked her kindly if I can use the loo, she refused to let me in, saying its only for customers !!!! Tried to explained to her that I was there 35 min ago there but she just turned her head to me. What a horrible customer service !! Being a regular customer at this shop for 3 years now I was in shock of this behaviour. I find it very ironic spending 4min of your time convincing customers to buy your biscoff cheesecake as a birthday cake that costs £30, lol but you didn't had 30sec to allow me to use ur loo. What an arrogant and unprofessional behaviour is this ! Not only I won't return there, but I will tell all my friends, family and colleagues abt this behaviour. U didn't lost 1 customer only, you lost many as we were visiting all the time the cafe. I would suggest next time, to take some customer service seminars and to be more empathetic and respectful to ur customers that...

Came here for breakfast as a group of 3 adults and 3 children. We ordered a mixture of hot food and pastries/muffins. They brought the drinks but no pastries, so had to go up to the counter and remind them we were waiting. Two of the hot meals came, so had to remind the staff we were waiting on a third breakfast. By the time it arrived, everyone else had finished so I had to quickly eat it so we could leave. Whilst the staff were pleasant enough, there was no apology or acknowledgement of the wait. The breakfast was very poor standard. The eggs had that rubbery surface like they’d been sat under a hot lamp for some time and the yolks were hard. The bacon slices were also all stuck together, again like they’d been sat being kept warm, and the mushroom was dried out. Had I not been starving and tired with 3 kids in tow, I’d have taken the plate to the counter and asked...

Had the worst experience of appalling customer service I have have ever had. Ordered a tuna wrap it tasted extremely fishy like it was going off. I discretely asked to swap it for a chicken wrap. The manager refused even though my husband was sitting with his food coffee cake etc. I was told he cant swap something just because I dont like the taste. Absolutely shocking. What should have been a nice lunch with my husband and baby was ruined by this. 'Manager' has no clue about good customer service or how to run a business apparently. I would not recommend and I will be sure to pass on this information to anyone I know who is unfortunate enough to consider...
