Lazord Syrian Street Food — Restaurant in Scotland

I last night had a disappointing experience at the Syrian street food shop that I feel compelled to share. I had pre-ordered food, expecting a smooth pickup, but what I encountered was far from satisfactory.

To start, the customer service was abysmal. After arriving, after waiting for 40 mins I was told that the food I had ordered was unavailable. However, rather than informing me of this upfront, they decided to give me the wrong food without any notice. When I asked about it, they falsely re-confirmed my original order, leaving me confused and dissatisfied. I had to go all the way to my hotel and come back after realizing that they have given me the wrong food .

To make matters worse, while I was waiting in line, I noticed that the Syrian cashier was taking orders from other customers, specifically ladies, who were behind me in the queue. This was not only unprofessional but also extremely frustrating as it made me feel ignored and disrespected.

When I finally got to the counter to address these issues, the cashier was incredibly rude. Despite the clear fault on their side, they showed no accountability or willingness to rectify the situation.

I had high hopes for this place, but after this experience, I won't be returning. The poor service, misleading actions, and lack of respect for customers are simply unacceptable. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary...

a Diamond among Thousands of restaurants in Glasgow! Where do I even start. As a regular visitor to high end restaurants like Chakoo cafe , KoolBa and Mother India, I must say this is the one and only restaurant that slays every other high end place in Glasgow. Whether you are a fast food lover or Michelin star diner, the food at this place will absolutely beat your expectations by 11/10. Of course not for vegeterians as they only specialize in meat dishes mainly chicken. The food is made fresh infront of your eyes including their kebabs, grilled chicken and fresh rice. The place serves Syrian style street food so please don't expect a lavish seating area. I bought a whole chicken meal with rice, bread and dips for only £11 and the portions were massive; enough to feed 2-3 people. The taste was impeccable and the value was shocking. The staff are very humble and always putting in the effort to add value your order. Not the cleanest of the seating area, but this review is aimed at only food and the food quality. This place does somethings really well, and others pretty bad.

✅ The lamb shawerm is pretty good! Good flavor good sauce and good bread, no complaints there.

✅ The rice is really well made and full of flavors and colors.

🆗 The chicken shawerma is okay, better than some other restaurants around but definitely not the best, or even close to it. Glasgow has way more decent shawerma in there.

❌ The roasted chicken is pretty bad. No flavor to it and can taste is very mediocre. Not worth the price at all and would never order it again.

❌ The prices in general are bit high for the quantity/quality of service you're getting.

❌ No cards and there are notes everywhere for customers to read that really do not make them feel welcome, like telling them no card and clean up after your table so I don't have to do it, as well as customers sharing my table when they were waiting for their order because the place were...
