I ordered eggs florentine, I waited around 15/ 20 mins before I was presented with eggs benedict. I told the waitress, sorry, it will have to go back to the kitchen, but I'll wait for eggs florentine, I also told the manager ( of sorts) the same thing when he approached our table. Around another 15/ 20 minutes later, I politely asked the waitress to check on my order. She eventually arrived with avocado, feta and egg on sourdough! I reluctantly accepted it as everyone else had almost finished and I was quite hungry. I ate very little of it, before giving up, as it wasn't very nice. I explained I wasn't happy to eat it and would rather wait....again...for eggs florentine. The waitress then told me, I had actually ordered eggs benedict and that is what she brought to me in the first place! The manager (of sorts) then told me, I would have to pay for both dishes, as I'd eaten most of the avocado.....really!??? I told them not to bother, they were both so bloody rude! I said I wouldn't be happy to pay for the order I had just sent back, to which he replied 'that's fine'. He returned a few minutes later, but I didn't care to hear what he was about to say, his attitude was extremely unprofessional and unpleasant. Shocking customer service! Everyone else agreed too! We actually had to laugh about it. If the waitress took as much care with customers as she does playing with her hair, and the manager (of sorts) took as much care of customers, as he does faffing around with the presentation of coffee trays (and, what's with the smarties!?) it would be of some improvement. Needless to say, won't be going...
Read moreI was surprised by the quality of the food overall as I was not expecting much, but it was enjoyed by most of the group except a few were disappointed with the quality of steak for the price. The service was good and the pre orders were all correct, it made it very easy for us having the waiting staff call the name of the person who ordered the food instead of the name of the dish, this was appreciated. The drinks were good but as we had a large party, some who were not comfortable using the app to order, did not enjoy having to get up to the bar for drinks during a three course meal as we were told all drinks would have to be put on the same bill if ordered from the table, making things difficult in terms or splitting the bill in such a large party. If this could have been resolved or payed separately it would have made the experience even more enjoyable. As the bar was busy at this time it was a little off putting having other guests of the bar stood lurking just behind us as there was 'standing room only' maybe making an area just for costumers who are dining would have made this experience more...
Read moreBooked a table over a week in advance as there was 8 of us to get there and there was messy tables everywhere and certainly one not reserved for us, waited over 10mins to eventually speak to someone be told they thought I had cancelled it. I showed them my confirmation email and even the email I received few hours earlier saying look forward to seeing you for your table reservation. He then look around and found a big table that was scattered in dirty dishes and said we can have that just give him a few minutes to clear it. Once cleaned we all went over to the table he said he’s going to get a chair as there was only 7 to never see him again, the app wouldn’t work to order to the table so when waiting at the bar to come back to chairs been taken from the other people within the bar/restaurant. It was over run, messy and under staffed especially with options to make reservations for large groups to be found stood about waiting for tables to be cleaned to be waiting for over 25mins to actually get a drink to which there are not cheap. Shambles and need organising a lot better. Definitely swerve this...
