EDO — Restaurant in Sheffield

We thought we found the best sushi in Beeston and nothing can beat that but we were wrong... Beeston is really good and this place is amazing... real taste of Japan!

We were so lucky to have found this place, and we drove all the way from leicester to here 3 times in 2 weeks lol

This shop is only for takeaway and they do have 2 other places close by you could eat in. We will be trying those later today and tomorrow! Can’t wait...

Right now we are waiting for another order of those amazingly fresh sushi and sashimi... even the sushi rice they had the exact right sweet and vinegar taste I could eat that alone!

• update * We waited for an hour for the food and it was superb!!!!!! We didn’t realised you can get loyalty points when booking through website or app, you get 10 points for every £1 and you get reward when you reached 500 points... so basically spend £50 get £5 for next time~...

I wish I could give -5 stars. We ordered £50 worth of food at a reasonable time on a Thursday evening at 8pm. It never arrived, infact Edo Sushi decided to wait until 9:31pm to cancel our order. Made us wait 1 hour and a half. Without even a phone call to explain why or an apology. Within that time we could have ordered from another sushi place had there'd been better management. If it was busy, why take another order? If it was late, then don't take orders you can't carry out. So disappointed as we have heard and seen so many good things from Edo Sushi but this delivery experience has been horrific. We were left hungry and resorted to...

Beautiful food, easily the best Japanese cuisine I've eaten since a trip to Tokyo last year. Stumbled across this place online and decided to pop in with my partner for a selection of sushi. Upon taking it to our hotel 2 minutes round the corner, we found it was so good it vanished immediately. I would particularly recommend the tempura softshell crab and avocado rolls. We couldn't resist heading back round almost as soon as the last piece was eaten to try the pork katsu and octopus takoyaki too (amongst other things). Will definitely return before the end of this trip and will likely be making excuses to visit Sheffield based...
