Factory Floor — Restaurant in Sheffield

When I arrived, the venue was very quiet, which seemed to be the case for every place I passed on the way there. Over the time I was there, it picked up significantly, with almost every table inside and outside eventually full.

The bar staff were great, friendly and approachable, and happy to chat while explaining what they do and the drinks they offer. The spirits they drip infuse are not only tasty but also look visually impressive behind the bar, giving a unique point of difference.

I tried four different drinks during my visit, all served with one of their homemade sodas, and each tasted excellent. The only minor downside was that the music felt a little too loud for the size of the venue and its acoustics. I think the atmosphere could be improved with slightly better sound management.

Factory Floor is one of my go to bars in Sheffield, a great rotating can fridge plus great keg beers from super exciting breweries, including Sierra Nevada (one of my faves so great to see in Sheffield). Well worth looking for. Barstaff are very friendly and welcoming and know about the product. Good fresh beer direct from Neepsend Brewery situated next door and Guest beers.
