Avoid at all costs. The staff are absolutely atrocious, the manager in particular. Rude, disrespectful and unpleasant. I usually don't write reviews but I had to after an incident at this bar in which a girl had a seizure, then the manager attempted to put her out on the street. Dismissing any objection to this by assuming everyone involved was drunk. To think that a poor girl could have been thrown out for having a seizure! She even had a medical bracelet on to confirm that it was in fact a seizure disorder and her friend advised that all she needed was room to ride it out and recover. Scary for those that haven't experienced anything like this but anyone that has will tell you this is exactly the right course of action. Even those of us with basic first aid training know that patients should not be moved unless in immediate danger of further injury. The "manager" argued with her friend and creating a very distressing situation that was completely unnecessary, rather than listening to his customers he would rather assume they are drunk and throw them out on to the street disregarding the damage or the danger this would put them in. Honestly gob smacked by his disgusting attitude and I will avoid this place at all costs and will advise everyone I know...
Read moreMyself and my friends regularly frequent Molly's as it was one of our favourite bars on West Street. We visited on Saturday to celebrate my birthday, and as a group of hospitality staff this is a rare occasion for us all to have a weekend evening to enjoy together. The night started well until one of my female friends was approached by a male a number of times. She made it clear she was not interested in this man as did we as a group and he should not speak to her anymore. He then went onto the raised platform by the stage area and him and his friends started quite obviously filming my friend. When we informed the bouncers of their behaviour they claimed the man is the owner and would have been filming a promotional video which quite clearly not the case. The way the bouncers brushed off the incident was disgusting, as was the behaviour from the alleged owner of the bar and makes us feel very uncomfortable about returning. With the current attention being drawn around spiking and women's safety when out being so huge it is extremely sad to see not all hospitality venues are taking the safety of their customers...
