Cherry's Boba Shop — Restaurant in Stockport

Don't ask how sweet you want it, if you want ice and my tea was shaken vigorously. I've been to over 200 bubble tea shops and they've never mixed the tea. took a sip and tried it and asked the vendor, because I didn't like that it was mixed including the whipped cream on top (why have it) 🤷‍♂️ and they were confused. This is not a bubble tea shop it is a glorified milkshake shop hanging onto the cost tails of the sudden popularity of boboa. Normally I can sip around the flavor I don't like and salvage it and I like getting the whipped cream off and wanted to pick off the chocolate and munch on it but I didn't have a choice. Chocolate mixed with bobo, not good, especially if it's not a choice. Won't go back, will go to the ACTUAL new tea shop, round the corner that's just opened. However, if you've never had bubble tea, don't know what tea tastes like or like milkshakes. Then you will like this...

I mean, i'll keep going because it's the only boba place in stockport sadly, but i've had multiple experiences now of the boba in both tiger tea and original tea not actually being fully cooked. It also doesn't seem to be cooked in a sugar syrup like how boba is usually prepared either, as the usual sweetness is non-existent which is deeply saddening.

The classic milk tea is supposed to be a cold, sweet milky tea, and the fact that the supposed sweeter tiger tea is actually closer but still not close enough to how a standard classic milk tea is SUPPOSED to taste, is extremely disappointing, it's not supposed to be incredibly bland and tasteless.

Visited stockport for the first time in a year to find this place opened up so thought I'de give it a try. On entering the place all i could smell was weed which is not a good start. Was met with silence on entering so we had a look at the menu, chose a flavour and was then waiting to order while 2 staff floated around at the back and 1 was making drinks.

The drink: for the prices they are smaller than all of the other places ive been to, and I've had a lot of bubble tea. Drink tasted like water, was more than half a cup of ice.
