We were a group of 11 who visited for our pre-planned Christmas meal. There were 4 courses including a starter, main, dessert & mince pies with a drink. We were made to feel welcome on a very chilly day from the moment we walked through the door and that welcoming atmosphere continued until we left many hours later. The food portions were very generous and were absolutely delicious. Our hosts, Glen & Alison, were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We even had a karaoke session hosted by a fabulous man (unfortunately I don’t know his name. Sorry!) who sang really well too. This is not advertised and was then charged £1.20 extra. Waited 20 minutes and went to enquired when it will be ready was snapped at told it takes time to make. Read moreAte here twice with my folks who were visiting from England and the owners came out for a good chat both times we visited, very friendly and hard working people who cook nearly all their own food , pies , welsh cakes etc. The bacon I had in my sandwich was good quality and the bread very fresh and prices are far better than its rival cafes. It was a pleasure to meet the owners lovely people especially as my mother can be extra picky/annoying 😀 she loved her coronation chicken...
