First off service was great from new sever, bar staff and host. However, burnt ends were neither burnt nor ends. White BBQ sauce is not a thing in the US, but for those who are curious is basically Mayo mixed with Cajun spice. Brisket was fall apart tender but no flavor and brisket gravy (also not a thing in the US) is just regular gravy resulting in the brisket entree feeling like steak pie (which I love a bit of steak pie) without the crust. Smoked sausage was felt like chorizo from Lidl or Aldi. I couldn’t eat more than a few bites of either as they were so awful. Ribs didn’t have silver skin removed prior to smoking and while they had a smoke and nice texture had no flavor. Ordering chips “dusted” were just regular chips which were actually the most decent part of the meal. Slaw was cabbage, purple cabbage and a carrot with a packet of Mayo hold it together. Kiddo 2 demolished his single burger from the kids menu so can’t complain about that but my veggie kid only ate half her veg (moving mountains from adult menu, the first listing not the second) burger. Missus says my expectations are too high for US BBQ in the UK and me Mum says stop being bougie but for a place flying an American Flag on the ceiling and billing it’s self as US style BBQ I’m gonna judge, even after being in the UK several years. Bathrooms sink faucet was falling apart in the gents. The disabled restroom was out of order and apparently the fancy chain mounted wood slab counter in the ladies was cracked. Loads of Alan Jackson on the overhead. Give it a skip. I’ll not be back, despite delightful waitstaff.

When the food came, I wasn't expecting the portions that were given. The size of it all is absolutely huge. I ordered the 3 meats platter 2XL sausages - it had a good snap when you bite it down. There was a good subtle spice flavours coming through Pull pork - moist and good flavour. Compared to some competition around swansea it's one of the best. Beef Brisket - beef brisket is hard to get right but out of the meats on the platter it was the weakest but it wasn't bad. Just compared to the other 2 it's the weakest. Still good though. The fries were well seasoned and the slaw was good. They gave us a good variety of sauces on table which were sweet mustard, bbq, and garlic sauce. My brother had the tbone steak and it was cooked perfectly and very tender. Definitely a good place to try. Will be coming back to try the other food on the menu and their portions are food for the price paid Also the staff were very friendly and pleasant to talk with

Visited last Saturday evening (Feb 24th) with two friends. First time to visit at the new location. Warm welcome received with drinks orders taken promptly. Our server for the entire evening was Georgia who was very pleasant, polite and great fun. I must state that our server, Georgia really was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. A real asset for the restaurant. Food was excellent, with generous portions (when it arrived) We ended up staying for most of the evening rather than venture into Swansea for drinks and had a really good time. We opted for desert and several more rounds of drinks. The only downside to the evening was our meals did take quite a while to arrive. Aside from this, I would certainly return.

Booked a table for a birthday celebration for 8 people, pre ordered food a week before, arrived on time for our booking, and an hour later we are asked if we are ready to order, we informed the staff member that we had pre-ordered, and staff where clueless to this fact, after 20 minutes we were then informed that they did not have anything left that we had pre-ordered A WEEK BEFORE. One member of our party has a celiac allergy, which staff clearly did not pay attention to, even though it was made clear on the booking, AND also the staff were told after, when having to order food that most of us did not really want, due to them not having what we pr-ordered A WEEK BEFORE.

One staff member brought an order claiming it was gluten free, then seconds later another member of staff took that plate and stated it isn't gluten free.

The table was booked for 7:30pm not a single order (that some decided to make) was on the table until 9:10pm.

even though the whole bill was compt, the experience we all had was all that was needed to know that this place has members of staff that are incompetent, a kitchen that is either completley uninformed, causing a signinficant danger to health of customers, or a kitchen that should not be open at all due to the lack of legally required labeling of food (for gluten allergic individuals).

Simply comping a meal does not excuse incompetence that endangers the wellbeing of customers, no communication between front of house and kitchen, (or there would have been a clear understanding of the pre-order for the booking) and lack of care when it comes to allergies, Over and hour and half for food to be served it disgraceful, this in itself is evident that kitchen staff have no clue what they are doing, regardless of the mess up of the pre-order. The length of time to have the food that was ordered instead is not something i would class as being professional. Waste of 2 hours of my time (Due to there being absolultley nothing on the menu left that I could order to eat instead). If i could give - 5 for a rating i would. Disgraceful, incompetant, unprofessional and clueless. 3rd time visiting, first 2 times were an hour wait for food even though it had been quiet, but for a booking and a pre-order to have such a muck up, is inexcusable, won't be wasting any time at this venue again. Management should be ashamed...

I'm very glad my wife took me here today, 4 adults and two kids in total. I love American BBQ style foods and this place gives you the American portion too, they were huge! Service was top notch, our waiter Tom was fantastic and accommodating, he gave us recommendations, told us about the offers, he was open and transparent with how they prep and make their food. Service speed was good and the meals are reasonably priced especially for the size. Food tasted great and was piping hot on arrival, the meats were on point, lovely juicy and tender, I had a rack of ribs with chicken and my wife had a serloin steak, both meals came with a lot of chips and a picklish coleslaw, condiments sauces brought to the table are kept in the fridge, so their nice and cold, the BBQ, honey mustard and garlic mayo (guessing the last two) are all homemade and pretty damn good, oh and so is their gravy. The atmosphere was good, with fairly loud but decent Motown music, it was slightly harder to hear a normal conversation but not bad enough to complain by any means, although we were right underneath a speaker. This place for me beats TGI Fridays, I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves a good old American pitmaster style food with some monster...
