We have visited this restaurant before and really enjoyed the food but last night we took a couple of friends with us to celebrate both our wedding anniversaries. On arrival we were kept waiting as they couldn’t find our booking and didn’t have a table for us. Eventually we were shown to a table and had our meal. We had just opened a second bottle of wine and one of the junior waiters came to offer us the dessert menus when the head waiter appeared, told the first waiter to take the sweet menus away, presented us with our bill, refused to serve us coffee and told us that we had to leave as they required our table! We pointed out to him that we had only been there for an hour and a quarter, that we had half a bottle of wine on the table and would at least like a cup of coffee! He informed us that an hour and a quarter were long enough to eat a meal and that he had people waiting so we had to go! Our guest pointed out to him that had we been informed at the beginning that we only had seventy-five minutes to eat our meal we could have made a choice as to whether we wished to stay or not! I have never been so embarrassed or humiliated in a restaurant before and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! We were not the only ones he told to leave. Another table of four was asked to leave and a table of two. Obviously he had overbooked and was just out to make money on a Saturday evening but definitely not somewhere to eat to celebrate a special...

Unbelievably rude.... Food was fine but service was appalling. After our mains were cleared the bill promptly arrived without the offer of any more drinks or desserts, swiftly followed by the waiter stood at the end of the table with the card machine telling us "we need the table!" We still had drinks and had only been in the restaurant for an hour and fifteen minutes. We were out with friends and hoping to make an evening of it with them. The waiter then tried to fob us off that apparently there's two sittings and we needed to be out by 9. Nowhere on the website does it mention this or nobody said anything to us when we arrived. Also our table wasn't ready when we arrived even though we had booked 7 weeks in advance. My advice is don't bother, there's plenty of other Indian restaurants in the area where the food is equally as good but the service is 100% better and you'll actually get to enjoy the whole evening, not just an hour and fifteen minutes. AVOID! Would have left 0...

Absolutely brilliant place! We've lived locally for a couple of years now and had been to all the other restaurants in Broadway but not this one. We finally made it the other night and loved it so much we went back two nights in a row! The food is delicious, the staff are amazing, very respectful and attentive. The menu is great, tons of options, including vegetarian. The nice thing as well is it's broken down into Chicken, Beef, Lamb, Seafood and Vegetarian options with a clear explanation of what each dish is (and how spicy), so if you're relatively new to Indian cuisine (like me) you know what to expect. Another huge bonus. They don't automatically include service charge like nearly all the establishments in Broadway (and further) do, but we quite happily left a tip because the service exemplified why you tip in the first place. Genuinely great food, great staff, great place. We'll...

When entering we asked if any of the vegeterian dishes could be made vegan. The waiter was lovely and said he'd check with a colleague. That person then said that yes they all could. A few minutes later the manager came over and we asked again to confirm could we have the biryani made vegan and he said no. I asked what could be vegan and became quite short and said you tell me what you want then we'll do it. So I said the biryani... and he said it could be made vegan after all. We ordered that and some other dishes to take away with us and the food was really good but we had to wait an hour for it after ordering, I'm assuming as we were taking it away it wasn't priority. Overall they had nice vegab food but they should advertise these more clearly!

Lovely Indian restaurant, very clean and well presented. We did have to wait over a hour for our food because they were so busy but all arrived perfect and piping hot. Only downside was It became very busy with people queuing for tables and take aways which takes away the relaxed restaurant feel as the people were standing in the restaurant and the phones going off all the time. Staff rushing around trying to serve food and and take aways ect. But overall the staff and food ect was great, maybe just more staff needed all round. Would definitely go back again.
