I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. As someone who genuinely enjoys Freebirds food, I had high hopes, but unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations. It was my first time at this location, and despite placing my order for a regular chicken bowl with chips and queso during dinner hours, the staff didn't even start preparing it when I arrived, almost 5 minutes after the designated pickup time. To make matters worse, when I got home I discovered that the chips I had paid for were missing.
But the real frustration came when I opened my chicken bowl and found a shockingly small amount of chicken. I counted only six pieces! Seeking resolution, I called the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager. However, the manager I spoke to was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Rather than addressing my concerns, they dismissively told me, “I find it hard to believe you only got 6 pieces of chicken, but you can bring it back in, and we can give you more chicken.” Before I could utter a word, the manager abruptly hung up the phone on me. In disbelief, I called back to inquire about the manager's name, but the person on the other end hung up on me once again.
Such poor customer service and lack of professionalism are unacceptable. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and takes steps to improve the quality of service and address the rudeness of their staff. As a customer, I expected better, and I will reconsider my future visits to...
Read moreFreebirds is one of my favorite places. I love how customizable the menu is and the option that are available. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because of my experience tonight. First, I arrived in and there was only one customer already being assisted. There were three employees that I could see. One was cutting meat, a second was helping the customer and the other was assisting the second with that customer. This is perfectly ok and all except that no one was smiling in fact there was a real bad feeling in the place. I, while waiting patiently observed as they helped the other customer, no smile. The man that cake up and helped me said hi but barely. Just all around such a bad vibe that I asked if it was a bad Monday for them. He said no that was the most people that had been in there (several others had come by that point). I get it that it was rainy outside and everyone has their days where they are tired or just not feeling it and dreary weather doesn’t help but all three of these people seemed like they didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to speak with customers. No greeting, no smile, no positivity (opposite of my usual experiences) almost made me turn around and leave but I gave it a chance. Good food but service was subpar at best today and I took my food to go so it only required maybe 5 minutes of...
Read moreI went to this location today to pickup my order I placed online. I completed the order and I specified 12:45 for pickup time. When I got up to the counter had to wait finally a guy came over and he asked me my name he proceeded to look thru the orders and finally said, I don't show an order by that name in the system, rude and snerky he was. I was flabbergasted! He went and got the manager, I believe her name was Esther (??) , she looked at the orders as well finally she said yes we don't have that order, are you sure, it was for Freebirds and I was like yes! She looked again, finally all of her other employees came over too, all standing around with dumb stupid smirks on their faces. She tried to charge me again asked me what I ordered and I said 2 chicken tacos and she said no we don't have anything like that so I'm charge you for 3 street tacos and I was like no you won't I've already paid online you not gonna charge me double!. Just didn't like her snerky attitude, no apologies, no, I'll look into this further, just that air about her that said I couldn't be right, it had to be my fault. Sorry freebirds you probably lost a potential customer with your screwed up system and poor customer service want to see me never return to your establishment? Then that...
