I typically love Pluckers, so it pains me to leave such a low rating. The food was pretty good; came out hot, was well prepared and quick. Where this location continues to fail is in service from both the waitstaff and management. After sitting at our booth for 8 un-greeted minutes, I ventured to the host stand and asked for a server. A manager arrived about 2 minutes later to take our drink order and let us know that our server would be by in a moment. Our server did make it by shortly thereafter with our drinks, which turned out to be wrong. We received decent service for the next 10 minutes while we tried a few sauces and browsed the menu, but had to ask for our corrected drink order twice because our waiter kept forgetting it. After ordering, our appetizer and wings came out rather quickly, although it was unfortunate that I never received my salad. Waiter checked in a few times while we were eating, yet we still had to call him back for drink refills a few times because he just gave a cursory glance and nod to our table. Once done eating, we sat at our table for 15 minutes with no check in, no check, and piles of dirty dishes. Our waiter went by his 2 other tables right next to ours and never looked our way, so we had to chase him down yet again. I asked for our check, the member's special dessert and to have the table cleared, and he immediately brought back our check with the dessert not taken off despite having mentioned our member status 3 different times. Given our waiter was nowhere to be found again, I asked for the manager to come by again to address the continued lack of attention and overall dissatisfaction with our experience. The manager barely made eye contact and kept trying to walk away as I was speaking to him. I finally asked him if he'd mind staying at our table to finish the conversation, which he chose not to do. We finally made it out of there after 1.5 hours of mostly sitting around and waiting to be served and waiting for our plates to be cleared and to wrap up the check. The experience was so negative that I'm hesitant to return to any Pluckers in the future given there appears to be a gross disregard for common courtesy and disinterest in any type of...
Read moreTbh I really don’t write reviews because I genuinely do not be caring but this time? I was mad. I ordered take out from pluckers tonight. Mind you, it’s a Saturday night, I’m understanding that it’s busy. There’s a game tonight too. So I knew my food would take a while but not damn near 50 mintues to an hour to come out 😂😂.
I go in and order, there’s for some reason 4,5 people at the front desk (little ass kids, and I’m meaning like 15 to maybe 19 year olds workers just cluttered standing there)
I order a 5 pice combo, I’m thinking this shouldn’t take time. They even told me 15 mintues latest. So me and a bunch of other people are standing there waiting for simple take out orders while those “workers” just stand there goofing off and flirting with other customers their ages that walk through the doors.
Lord and behold after 50 mintues of me standing there because I didn’t wanna go to my car if the wait was actually 15 mintues.
One boy comes out with atleast 7 to 9 orders all in his hands and I’m standing there in disbelief because there’s no way. All Of our food just got made at the same time and brought out the same time.
I get my food, it’s dead cold lmao. So what I’m thinking is that it’s not the cooks fault or the kitchen. Because they clearly did their job. But it’s workers who are clearly teenagers that were all cluttered at the front desk.
Because not until I said something did they go check then finally wanna bring out all the take out orders. Meaning our food was ready for each person standing there but because they just wanna stand around. Nobody went to go actually check. It’s ridiculous and then you got the REAL workers who are clearly adults around 23 and up, actually working while moving around the restaurant but the little babies are at the front just goofy off as if they don’t get paid to service people.
What type of shit is that 😂 never again. This never happened to me before which shocked me because imagine getting there at 10:10 pm to damn near leave around 11:00 pm. Just to wait for 5...
Read moreMy friend and I sat in a booth in the main area. The atmosphere was good, loud but typical for a sports wing bar and game night. We both ordered at the same time. My friend got their food brought out and the lady asked me if I was still waiting on mine. I said yes and then said she would go check on it. After a few minutes, the waitress came back and asked how things were and said she would go check on my food. Mind you, no one had been back yet. Then a a few minutes later, a manager was walking by and I stopped him and said two people went to go check on it. Then after a few more I flagged down another one and the waitress came over. I told them to cancel the order as I had been waiting for over 20 since my friend got their food. I told him to eat so he didn't have to wait before that. They said okay and not much long after the first manager came by with the food. I said no I don't want it and said I asked for it to be canceled. He said I could have it and I said no, we have to be leaving soon and he said he could put it in a to-go bag. Mind you we were going to a show later and it's 90 outside. I prefer chicken not to stink up my car for over an hour. He left and the other manager came back and said they took it off the bill. He said she was new and put the orders as separate windows and thus separate orders and she would be coached. I said okay and thank you. Then we checked out and fortunately, they comped my friend's food but charged us for the drinks. I understand the two separate "windows", but the orders would have been put in right after each other. Why would there be a 20m difference between them? Did like 29 people order between us? Either way, glad they didn't charge for my friend's meal but very disappointed, especially since this is my first time at that location and it's just down the road from my house. I am probably going to avoid the location and probably not recommend it to...
