Every time I have tried to visit this location it has ended up being a disaster. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in any establishment in my entire life. Every time I try to go back thinking there's no possible way that it could be as bad as the last, I am proven wrong yet again. The rude, snotty little girl behind the counter was even ruder than the time before. This time we arrived at 11:27 pm. It's a Friday night, creamistry publishes their hours to be open until 12 am. It also says so on the glass door where you enter. we didn't get one step in the door before the snotty little girl behind the counter tells yells " we're not taking any more orders tonight!" It's not so much what she said but the way she said it. She yelled it. Very rude. She was not busy, there were three gentlemen in there eating their dessert. Nobody in line. And over a half hour before closing time. It was clear and obvious that we were in no way welcome in that establishment. A familiar feeling from previous times when we've received terrible terrible service. Obviously her one concern was getting out of there on time. No concern for the customer at all. This is has been the same scenario every time I've tried to visit this place. It's become a joke. Have you ever been a customer in your own store? I recommend giving it a shot. You'll see why you're losing so much money. I wouldn't be surprised if you're closed by the end of the summer. Stunned that you made it through the pandemic. I recommend you change your hours posted on the door and on Google Maps or have a talk with your employees. I'm pretty sure it doesn't take over 30 minutes to shut down and frankly that should be done after you're closing hours posted. I've never been so disgusted with any one establishment. Multiple multiple disappointments....
Read moreThis was my first experience at Creamistry and it may be my last. When we walked in they were not very busy. There were 2 people ahead of us finishing up placing their orders. While waiting for my turn I began to scope out the inside of the store. I noticed that the counters were covered in ice cream etc. My friend didn't seem perturbed by this so I figured it must be okay to order, I was wrong. It wasn't until after we both received our orders my friend said the place didn't look as unkempt the last time she came. The longer we were there after having placed our orders and paid, the more there was to see about the poor state of the store. The machines all had caked ice-cream residue on the base, the backsplash had ice-cream and toppings littered on it it. The boards for chopping toppings didn't look like they had been cleaned all day, and it was not clear whether they were following proper protocol with keeping allergens separate from other toppings. This place was understaffed and not very well trained. After my friend and I ordered several groups came in behind us to order, crowding the small store. The 2 employees working both appeared to be teens. The young woman working the register was friendly enough but did not know how to help her counterpart making the ice-cream treats until it was too late into the rush they experienced to keep things moving. The young man making the ice creams had ear phones around his neck and moved with no sense of urgency to get the crowd cleared. I would have given this at least 2 stars if the whipped cream didn't taste like it was spoiled. My friend and I both scooped the whipped cream off and tried the ice-cream underneath. The flavor was good but we could not finish it with the prior taste of the bad whipped cream on our tongue. This place needs management to intervene...
Read moreI will never visit this location again! This place was nasty. The restroom was gross as well but cleaner that the front! The waffle machine looked like it had never been cleaned and all of the mixers had ice cream stuck on it where the white mixers looked brown Although they were busy when we answered the establishment we were not greeted. Once we got to the counter the young lady at the register was looking on her phone for at least three minutes before she asked if we were ready. There were three other young people working making the ice cream. There was no unified uniform on the employees. Everyone working looks like they just showed up to work because the original staff didn’t come in. The music playing in the store was the uncut version. The music was not appropriate for the children waiting on the ice cream. We busted the store around 7:30 pm. They were out of a lot of things. Once we finally got our ice cream we decided to sit outside at the location. The outside was filthy as well. Trash all around their outside chairs and table. My ice cream tasted fine but nothing spectacular where I want to pay 6+ dollars again for the total experience that we received.
The above can be blamed on poor management. The workers were obviously teenagers and I’ll assume never been taught proper customer service. If the type of service continue and especially in the area is and I don’t see it continuing to do well. I’d rather drive to Brahms or Dairy Queen.
To the owner please secret shop your own store because whoever is running it and employees is...
