I visited this Moe's on Jan 24th. I went in there to grab something to ear before I went to work. When I went in I noticed a massive puddle of water that had accumulated in front of the fountain area towards the register. They had a wet floor sign right there. When I came out of the restroom water had went down the wall in front of the men's room & My right foot had hit it & I twisted my ankle and re injured my other leg. The employee's were slow to even get over there to see what was going on. They gave me the number to their district manager by the name of,Calem Nailer. He explained that I would have to go through their insurance company & that there was nothing that he could do. I spoke with their insurer,Cincinnati Insurance. The adjuster Philip Isom took a recorded statement & said he would get back with me. I had to chase this man down for weeks & he wouldn't return phone calls or text messages. I finally had to call his boss today & then he called me to tell me that his denying this claim because it was no fault of Moes. As I explained to him, if there is a puddle in the floor that is the size of Lake Erie & there is no wet floor signs down by the bathroom, then how is it now? Anyone readying this, I would avoid this Moe's. They are careless & don't look out for...
Read moreIt's common for restaurants to have a preservative, usually on the lettuce to keep it from wilting, that some people unknowingly have a bad reaction to, most likely in the form of gastrointestinal distress.
Why do I say this? Because I have found that this has caused me problems in the past, and I have about a 50/50 shot with Moe's, but only if I buy an item with lettuce on it. I don't know if the preservative is on it or not, but for whatever reason, the lettuce is the culprit.
Last time I went, however, I was desperate. I had not been able to properly go to the bathroom in about 5 days, and I was in a constant state of discomfort. So I got myself a First Rule of Chicken Fight Club and hoped for the best.
The next day I finally went not once, but three times, and even though it was gross, the discomfort was gone, and I didn't feel bad anymore.
Otherwise, the food was good, workers were friendly, and I had a fine experience. 10/10 would eat again, just...
Read moreI’ve been to this Moe’s many times, but tonight it wasn’t a great experience. I got there about 7:45 pm, and there were a lot of people waiting near the front counter, I heard they ran out of chicken or something. It was a bit of a red flag to me, but I got in line anyway.
I started off ordering a Joey steak, but then decided to get chicken instead. Unfortunately the foil didn’t get corrected, so when I got to check out, I got charged for the steak. I brought it to the attention of the check out person who then asked the line person what I had. The line person didn’t remember. They had started working a large take out order after mine. I pressed the issue a little more and then the checkout person told me that the steak costs the same as the chicken, so I shouldn’t worry about having the transaction corrected. I figured out later this is untrue as steak and carnitas have a different price than chicken. The food tasted good, but overall the...
