I've recently visited Church's Chicken 2 days in a row...both on Sunday 12/26 and Mon 12/27. Both experiences were subpar performances in food and service. My biggest dilemma was with the food and how management handled or didn't attempt to resolve the situation. Both days I ordered a 3pc mixed with a breast and 2 legs Spicy. On the first day they ran out of chicken breast when I was paying for my order. I was informed by the manager on duty (MOD), that I could get something else or wait 15mins. I chose the 15min wait because I wanted my breast. They also didn't have any ice, so I ordered a bottle of water. I decided to go inside after a significant wait to ask about spicy chicken and the MOD said the spicy chicken available was old and wasn't fresh, so I said okay and waited. He even voluntarily showed me the spicy white meat, which I appreciated greatly. I sat inside to wait on my order. When it came up I knew my chicken would be hot and fresh. Uponst arrival at home 2 of the 3pcs were piping hot 🔥 and the other piece was lukewarm and tasted old. My apple pie was also lukewarm and not fresh, along with my premium mac & cheese, which was TERRIBLE. I let Sunday go and gave them a do over for Monday. My do over was a bad idea because like I mentioned earlier in this review the spicy dark wasn't available for my 3pc mixed. Once again ice wasn't available either and I didn't receive my SPICY BREAST AT ALL...I was given an original breast, when I originally didn't want any type of original chicken PERIODT. I attempted to contact the location and of course the line was busy SMH again😏. It's sad how busines chains in Albany make excuses for why the customer service or food quality is subpar and standards are LOW. A paying customer doesn't wanna hear why you can't perform at peak standards or make the customer's day. I can be understanding within reason, but come on now. Sometimes, I feel like I need to tell the employees how to professionally handle a situation that benefits both sides. People don't care about customer loyalty and building a positive brand anymore, but all about money and cutting corners. Some of the companies and their employees need to go back to the drawing board and retrain their entire staff with management included. My situation on day 2 at Church's chicken should have been handled as an EXCEPTION BASE order, which would include...them making a one time exception on my order because they had no spicy dark readily available, but they did have all white spicy available. I should have been given the option to get all white spicy at no additional up charges or if I was okay with getting original, then get the original and apologize for the inconvenience they created for ME, "the customer"...NOT APOLOGIZE, when you're giving me something I didn't want to began with. I will take my business back to Carter's chicken in Lee Co, Popeyes when I feel like having spicy chicken and attitudes and KFC when I feel like...
Read moreI feel like I am owed a free meal after Today's visit! Toady was the final straw! Every time I visit this location, there is always a problem! Either the staff isn't very friendly and welcoming, the staff sound like they don't to be there, or they take a long time to give me my meal. Some major changes need to be done at this location. I'm sick of it! Today, when I got to the drive thru, the order taker, Markeeta, was not very welcoming and sounded annoyed. She said welcome to Church's Chicken, would you like to try our........ Order when you’re ready. The reason why I put the.... Was because she said her "greeting" so fast I couldn't understand what she was saying. How are you going to ask if someone would like to try something when they can't hear you, and then instead of waiting for a response, you say order when you're ready? You might as well not even ask. After stating my order, she told me my total then loudly asked the cook to drop spicy chicken tenders. She forgot her mic was still on. When I get to the window, I paid for my meal, then she told me to pull up to the front and they'll bring my meal out to me because it was still cooking. So I did. I parked my car at 1:02. After 3-5 cars and 13 minutes later, I got tired of waiting because I am on my lunch break and I went inside to see what was going on. When I went in there, I told them I ordered at the drive thru, and I never got my order. The manger looked at my receipt and said, oh it's because he ordered spicy strips, and then the girl said that they forgot me. So I'm already mad, and they still took their time getting my order together. They had to cook more okra which took 3 more minutes. So I went out to the car and told my wife that it will take a little longer. She told me to ask for my money back, and so I did. And the cashier said the okra is almost done. So I didn't even bother with it any longer. I was ready to get out of there. I didn't get my money back. All in all, my service was terrible today as usual, and I would like a free meal because of this incident. They didn't apologize, they didn't offer any kind of free desert, or offer to give me the meal for free. They just gave me my food and went on about their business. This location is so...
Read moreBeing from NewJersey we were very excited to try church’s chicken. Went to church’s chicken in Albany GA drove 11 minutes from our hotel to church’s. The service was horrible. We went through the drive through ordering a 10pc mixed meal and chicken tenders just tenders. Drive back to the hotel 11minutes again to eat as excited as we were to try we were disappointed to find our sides were missing. We had to get back in the car with our two children and tell them they could not eat yet. Drive another 11minutes back to church’s to explain what happen to be shut down not acknowledged and told basically you get what you get granted my husband went in first. He comes out to tell me which I said it was not ok we were charged $34.10 for 10pc chicken and no sides. I go inside explain to the cashier even try to show her the charge before finishing she speaks to a older gentleman who was very nice I tell him what happens and he gets the sides for me. While he is doing that there is another woman with a light blue shirt rudely talking about me as if I were not standing there I was not asking for free food or to be comped but to acknowledge there was a mistake and to just correct it. As I am there a few other customers complain about there orders not being corrected. I definitely will not go back the hospitality was lacking that one rude employee made me so upset I refuse to spend money where I don’t get treated with respect. After coming home my kids ate cold chicken with hot sides kfc will be on the menu next time. Very...
