Crumbl — Restaurant in Albany

I love Crumbl cookie I have been to several other locations in different places. That being said, I was extremely excited for this one to open. The first day that I went they were so nice even though it was new and they were still learning. However tonight when I went I misunderstood the hours. I thought they closed at midnight but they closed at 10. I showed up just before 930 and had finished my order at 9:30. I was told one of the cookies had a wait immediately which was totally fine ! The really nice lady with the red hair and freckles said it would be a two minute wait for that cookie I said no problem. We waited and waited and waited which also wouldn’t have made me leave a review or be mad but for the fact that the entire time we were waiting, they ran their mouth about us. Out loud like we weren’t standing there ! All of them weren’t doing it but two in particular did and were very loudly complaining about people deciding to come in at the end of the night and expecting to get cookies and being picky. All I said was I would wait for the cookie I wasn’t mad I didn’t have an attitude at all. I had a child with me who could hear them running their mouths, one girl complained over and over and the manager also ran her mouth about us. She did apologize before we left, but it doesn’t feel very sincere when you talked about me for 15 minutes. That being said, there were some really nice employees in that store. To top it off when we got our cookies, (I had to get a new one because I couldn’t get the one that I was told I would be waiting for and I was still nice about it) some of the cookies were not even baked all the way through they threw them together quick and sloppy and threw them in a box and I’m not sure why it took so...

I am not usually someone to write reviews, as I know that sometimes people have off days… but my experience on Wednesday 8/7, was absolutely horrible. First, I ordered 2 cookies @ 9:00pm, didn’t get them until 9:30pm, even though there was only one other customer in the store. During my 30 minute wait, the employees were cutting up in the back and served the other customer very rudely. The employee explained that they had rushed on the decoration portion of the cookie, apologized, and the other customer said it was fine as “it will taste the same.” The employee responded “dang that’s some big back ** to say.” … like excuse me?! 😂 When I was served my thrown together ugly cookies, she proceeded to make another fat joke to me as well, “dang you look ready to eat them cookies.” Lastly, there were ANTS everywhere probably due to the crumbs all over the counters and floors.

As I said before, I usually take into account that business have off days or that they were closer to closing, but this was entirely unacceptable compared to the wonderful service I have previously received at...

With the Albany location being very new there has been a decent line the few times we have gone by. We decided to stop by while grocery shopping this morning and there was not wait at all. With this store being part of a shopping plaza there is plenty of parking. The store was beautifully designed and very clean. The only thing I would change is the amount of storefront space. It is a bit small. They offer staff and kiosk ordering inside in addition to having the option to order ahead on their app. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our entire visit took less than ten minutes. I was very impressed that they presented the box to us and asked if everything looked okay to ensure we were satisfied with our purchase. We ordered five of the six flavors and have enjoyed all of them! When I showed my husband how large they were he was speechless! Our three year old LOVED the chocolate chip cookie.
