Just so you know, they have samples for you to try!! That's pretty unique! If you check in here with Yelp, a free bag of doughnut holes is free of charge too! For some reasons, I searched for doughnut places and I ran into Amy's donut. From the reviews, it seemed like a good place to try so I did. As I walked in there, place was very spacious and bright! Not sure whether it's from the sun or the doughnut toppings, there were so many....too many (is there such a thing!?). If you plan to bring children here, make sure to have a signed agreement that they will choose and have only one doughnut...just a warning With three cases full of doughnuts, I decided to get ONLY half a dozen. I chose a few that I wanted to try; I also got the filled doughnut. For the filled doughnut, there are six flavors to choose from and they fill it there in front of you. If doughnuts are not for you, maybe try their doughnut holes. They are equally delicious! The texture of the doughnut is soft - very soft - even with the cake doughnuts. It's like I chewed pillows or clouds or cotton candy. To describe the softness of the doughnut, when I tried to remove it from the box, I had to be careful to not squeeze it to hard as it might disfigured. Will I go back again? Yes! There are more doughnuts to try!

The donuts here are AMAZING!!! My wife and kids and i have yet to try a flavor that isn't fantastic. Huge draws: 1) their hours. Open at the butt crack of dawn until midnight 2) fully stocked all day. Most donut shops, when they run out, you're SOL. Not Amy's. 3) if you want something and it's not out, tell them and they'll go make it for you. The guest time i went there, i saw they have cotton candy donuts but there weren't any out and i expressed disappointment to my wife. They overheard and immediately jumped in and asked if i wantedblue or pink cotton candy on my donut! 4) filling bar. You can ask to have any of their donuts filled with dulce de leche, Bavarian cream, vanilla frosting, or strawberry lemon or raspberry fruit filling. Even if it's not a donut that usually has a filling, they'll accommodate you. I like the pistachio yeast donut with raspberry filling on top. 5) fun, creative, attractive donuts. Tons of options whether you like fruity, chocolate, marshmallow, bacon, cereal, candy bar... Bottom line? I was a rebel donuts die hard until i tried Amy's and I'm a 100% convert now.

Stopped by Amy's this morning (8:30) after watching the hot air balloons. As always, I was not disappointed. Amy's always has my favorite, chocolate old fashioned. Had to pick upnthe green chili and bacon, YUM! Red velvet for my son. Staff is always friendly. I appreciate that they will fill pretty much any donut with whatever you like. Today picked up powered sugar rounds, 1 with raspberry and 1 with lemon. Lemon zest is a good one too 👍 **update 08/18/2013** First time visiting late afternoon on a Friday. I was extremely surprised to find they were pretty well stocked with a great variety of donuts. I got my heart attack, chocolate old fashioned, Cookie monster, and a strawberry cheesecake donut. Never a disappointment. Service, as always, friendly. Restrooms - clean!

My Girlfriend got fired from Amy’s on her first day while in training doing exactly what her coworkers told her to do. My Girlfriend (Mary) got a job working at Amy’s and was doing good had no problems throughout the day even cleaning the tablets that none of the other workers cleaned doing the most she could for this job. A lady came in asking for doughnut holes. When my girlfriend made a simple mistake of not giving her the right amount she was rude instead of understanding that it was her first day and mistakes happen. It’s a simple mistake that got taken care of and instead of going about her day she decided to make up a lie that Mary was rude getting her fired over 5$. This could have all been avoided if the owner would have asked the co-worker right next to Mary if she was rude. Instead the owner fired her while she was in training; how could she have known how many doughnuts were going to go in the box if she had not learned yet. This was a very bad way of handling this situation and if this is how Amy’s treats its employees choosing the side of a rude customer than there own employees I recommend finding a new place of business to purchase your doughnuts. And to Samarah Mata The rude lady who makes up lies about people when she doesn’t get what she want the first time you need to get a life I seen your profile and all you do is complain about the workers when you don’t get what you want. Both this owner and this employee need to grow up and handle situations like this better someone was fired because of it. You should be ashamed...

Since my comment about the customer service I received at the Albuquerque location got deleted off instragram. I will take my rant to google! If I could give no stars I would just by the fact my comment was deleted instead of being addressed to me. About 3 Saturdays ago our family wanted a mid night snack and everyone was ranting and raving about Amy's Donuts and how delicious they were. The wide variety of donuts was awesome but the customer service my friend and I received on this night was ridiculous. We walked into the Abq - San Mateo location a little before 11:30 pm. Closing hours aren't until 12am so we had more then enough time to get what we needed and be on our way. Upon entering the gal that was working at front greeted us with a smile but in a kind/rude way reminded us that they close in 30 mins. My friend and I apologized and said it shouldn't take long to pick a dozen donuts. The gals attitude from there was rude and was basically rushing us out the door because they closed in 30 mins. But I what I didn't understand was there was 2 people sitting down eating their donuts and another couple had walked in and got help from a young man and nothing was said to them. It was my first time coming to Amy's so I was pretty excited to try it out. But the cusomter service I received on that night was out of control for no reason and since I had no acknowledgement of my instragram comment I will not be returning to any of...

The donuts here are just mediocre. Basically, gas station donuts loaded with several different types of toppings. There is nothing really special about the donuts themselves. Other than the fact that you can get different types of toppings on them. Think of birthday Cupcakes, you make at home and load with a bunch of candy. Basically, a lot of red 40 And different types of food coloring sprinkles and sugary frostings, we stopped in once and probably the one time is enough for the rest of our life, the art inside and colors are nice, though, the only thing I could say about the environment is it's Albuquerque, clean, if you know what, I mean, everything is sticky. Everything is musky, everything is waxy. Everything is hard to see through because it's dirty. The entire establishment needs an extremely isn. Deep cleaning from the floors to the glass cases that the donuts are in You can tell that if the front end looks like this. The back end is probably horrendous, so if the owner of this establishment happens to see this review, please do your customers and yourself and tell your staff to perform a gate cleaning this place serves food.It shouldn't look like that. The service was good. The guy behind the counter was friendly and funny. I'm only marking it takeout, because I wouldn't want to sit inside and eatI'm only marking it takeout, because I wouldn't want to sit inside and eat.I mean, I did want to, but it was...
