We could not have been more disappointed. I wanted to try the newly re-built Bob's Burgers at Eubank and Chico NE. I went to the drive-thru just before noon. I know this because I texted my girlfriend as soon as I got in line. There were seven vehicles in line ahead of me. It took, on average, almost five minutes for each car to move up one position in the line. By the time I realized this, there were cars behind me and there was no way to pull out of the line. I'd previously checked the menu on the Bob's Burgers website and had seen that the prices listed were quite reasonable—$5 or $6, on average, for a combo meal. When I finally got to the spot in line where the menu was displayed, I found that the prices were, in actuality, more like $8 or $9 per combo meal. This was also the spot where the speaker was to place an order. I had a difficult time understanding the young lady that took my order due to two factors: she had a relatively heavy Spanish accent and the lousy fidelity from the cheap speaker. I had to repeat myself several times and had to ask her to repeat herself several more times. But I finally got my order in. Two cars remained ahead of me to get to the first window for payment and to receive drinks—10 minutes. At the window, she gave me my drinks, both with ice. I'd told her twice "no ice, please" for both drinks. When the car in front of me at the second window finally drove off, I received my order: a 4-piece chicken nugget meal and a chili cheese dog meal. Both included fries. I asked the lady there if they had Ranch dressing as a dipping sauce for the nuggets. She said they did not, they only had ketchup and mustard. Nothing else. I thanked her and drove off. A total of 32 minutes had elapsed between the time I entered the line and the time I left the second window. When we went to eat our meal, we found that the "chicken" nuggets were the worst that I think we've ever eaten. The "meat" was a tasteless, textureless, white paté, and the coating was thin, dark, reddish brown and flavorless. Two of the four nuggets went in the trash. I was only able to eat two bites of my chili cheese dog. The "chili" had a disgusting flavor that overpowered the sparse sprinkle of cheese, the few onions, and the meat of the dog. The bun, however, seemed to be fresh. There was absolutely nothing remarkable about the french fries. They were generic and would have been flavorless if not for the salt. Never did they say they were backed-up. The music was so loud that we couldn't hear the order numbers they were calling (I asked twice for them to turn down the volume). 15 minutes into my wait time another frustrated customer was speaking to Misty about wanting more ketchup packets for the 5 orders of fries she had. Misty attempted to yank the bag of fries from the customer's hand after saying she wanted a refund. YES!... over ketchup (they were only handing out 1 packet per order of fries-- which I came to find out when I finally received my order 30+ minutes after ordering). Misty walked away and had a teenage boy speak to the customer. I finally went to check on my order -- thinking I missed hearing my number -- another girl walked away without asking what I came up to the counter for, completely ignoring me. She returned a minute or two later yelling my number in my face. I was missing 3 orders of fries and 1 order of tortilla burger after leaving the counter. During my 30+ minute wait I had nothing but my Pepsi to drink while waiting for my order... so I had finished most of it by the time my food arrived. I went to get a refill, same girl who gave me my short order, she asked what I had and I told her a Pepsi, she filled it and came back telling me it would be 50 cents for the refill. I refused to pay it because I waited more than 30 minutes for my food to begin with, and she didn't tell be about the refill fee beforehand. I then asked to speak with the manager (Misty), she said it would be a minute. Nope, Misty sent the teenage boy over to talk to me! I asked for a number to call another manager or owner, but he refused to give a "private" number... why isn't there a number available to call??? Misty, the manager on duty, NEVER came over to speak to me. All the while the teenage boy continued to argue with me over the fact that "it was my choice to come in to order", "they were busy", and many other countless excuses he could come up with. I finally asked what the next route was to go since they couldn't resolve my complaint with them, I gave my name and number for the manager to call me. When I asked when I can expect a call back he said he didn't know!! I doubt that I'll ever receive a call...
Read moreLeft Bob's on Eubank very UPSET I called my order in and was told it would take about 20 minutes so I figured I would give them an extra 5 minutes I got there and was told it would be right up so I sat and waited for another 15 minutes I finally got up and asked about it the young man checked the TO GO orders and there it was NICE AND COLD by now, I had ordered my fries CRISPY and they were mushy by now he offered to make my FRIES over so I said please my wife had requested them CRISPY NO HAPPY WIFE NO HAPPY WIFE when my fries were finally done I asked to speak to the manager all she said was sorry when I would have expected a FULL comp after being there a TOTAL of 45 minutes I understand it was Taco Burger Tuesday but to wait 55 minutes is uncalled FOR... But I will probably be back because my wife likes it but not FOR ME!!!!!!! Update went there again for my wife and it was worse this time they DO NOT even ANSWER the phone for call in orders I get the impression that the owner DOES NOT even care about these previews, because I have yet to see an answer to ANY of them good...
