Saturday 01/11/25 around 4pm my friends and family had planned to celebrate my friends daughters 15 birthday. From the moment all 13 of us walked in we were getting looked at as if we didn't belong..my friend had approached the service counter to ask about being seated he right off the bat said 1 hour to an hour & 30 min. Didn't ask about being split up into smaller groups just gave us that time frame. We walked through the restaurant full of DIRTY tables and empty tables ( and not all of them had "RESERVED" on them) tops could have fit 8 and 6 plenty of them. So we went back up to the host desk and asked of we could just split the tables up instead of seating 14. That was a direct NO. I asked to speak with a manager cause I was watching people walk in in groups of 5, 6 and not having any issues? The host said my boss said 1 hour or longer sorry. So I asked if I could still speak with the manager. He called for Drew he came out with the most DISRESPECTFUL attitude possible as if he was real bothered to have a conversation. So my friend asked about the tables he said he had parties coming in and he couldn't help us. We then asked about tables in the front and he refused to seat us there as there were no reservation papers on the tables he just refused to seat us there. We then said that we could split us our group in the back area if it was easier he said no?? We pointed out that other groups with 5,6 and 8 people were being seated and he said yea they are easier to get in right away? Ok so we are letting him know that we are ok doing that as well. He then got real rude and asked how do you want to be accommodated, how, how while giving real rude body language. My friend said we are ok with being split up as long as we can be in the same area, drew then Said let me see what I can do as if it was a huge problem with all the empty tables while people are still walking in getting seated. Keep in mind we are by the host desk and not 1 party that walked in said they had reservations they just were giving a number of people in group and getting seated While Drew was off scouting for tables my friend just said let's just get cards (14) play cards for now and we will let him know that we can wait since it's a problem. She was standing in line for the cards as Drew came back and said maybe 30 minutes I can get you back. My friend said ok if it's easier we can get game cards no big deal cause we were already feeling discriminated and disrespected not to mention extremely out of place and uncomfortable. Drew went off the handle...he started telling us off and saying what, what what do you want. Of course my friend finally got angry and told him we are just gonna get cards and we will wait. Drew said if you are gonna do that you need to work on your attitude, my friend said you do to. Drew then stopped the transaction of the cards being purchased and said (don't seat them don't sell cards to them either) we asked why and he said cause your attitude!!! My friends husband asked what and why Drew started yelling and getting attitude with him so of course he told him back at this point my friend daughter was in tears and her other daughter was having a panic attack. Drew called the security and they came as well as a off duty police officer who said she saw everything and agreed Drew was completely wrong. There was also a female working at the front desk yelling at my friend just go just go and laughing. We were 100 percent disrespected, discriminated, mistreated and judged for the way our familys and friend's look. I have been trying to get ahold of corporate office in Dallas with no luck as well as getting the knowledge that Drew is the general manager of the albuquerque location. Crazy mostly everyone in albuquerque is Hispanic or at least has it in them but if you look like a "homie" don't go there. DREW is prejudice and very disrespectful. If you ask what his issue is with you he will call the cops and alway his team to disrespect...
ย ย ย Read moreI was here on October 2023,, I won't be back.. First of all, Thane was our waiter, he waited on my friend because my friend knew what he wanted, I asked Thane to come back in a few minutes to take my order, he NEVER CAME BACK! so I hunted down a different waitress to take my order, I brought my best friend's son, whom has autism, he was so excited, but wah, wah, service was terrible, long story short, I informed our waiter that he sucks, and trust me that's a nice way of putting it, he disappeared, he could not clean up our water and spill, he did not let me know when know it was Happy Hour. I do believe Thane and his manager Harmony were probably thee worst customer service I have had in a really long time. I spilled a half of glass of water, you'd thought it was a tsunami! Thane, our waiter, came rolled the water to the floor, wiped a quick wipe with water still being everywhere, I took what little napkins I had and I cleaned the water myself, but there was still water on the floor, under our table where we'd be stepping, he sent a bus boy to do that, I guess a waiter can't clean up a water spill, and it was a half a glass people. he disappeared! When he finally came back, I said, dude, where were you? Oh, I told the bus boy! Really. I told him that he sucked as a waiter, he runs and tells Harmony, the manager. I could not believe her response to me was that I hurt Thane's feelings by telling him he sucks. Wow! Really Thane and Harmony, if being told you suck is the worst thing you are ever called in your life, you're living a good life. No profanity. Ridiculous. She could care less about the service we received. But only about poor Thane being told he sucks. And he did. So does she. Her only worry was that I hurt Thanes feelings! What?? He's a big boy, Harmony!! Go to customer service school you two.. It takes common sense to wipe up a spill immediately! Not send it to someone else. They could have offered me bigger napkins than bar drink size, I could have, and actually did end up cleaning it myself, at least the table, the floor, that took a hot minute! Before someone came with a mop. Wow! so disappointed. Needless to say, I won't be back or recommending to anyone else. At least not Uptown Location at Winrock Center in...
ย ย ย Read moreWe visited this evening to celebrate an accomplishment with our family and although we enjoyed our food, the service was awful. We felt like a burden the entire visit and every staff we interacted with acted like they hated their jobs. The best part was after we spent $90 in the dining on food with a 20% tip on top of that so a total of around $110 and our server was not friendly the entire visit, my cousin and I wanted to enjoy a drink in the bar area while our family played games. A random lady approached our table with plates and sign that stated "PLEASE SEE YOUR HOSTESS TO BE SEATED", and proceeded to place it on our table without saying a word to either of us , but making sure to give us dirty looks. From ky experience of working in the restaurant/bar business, it open seating if not busy and if it's a big deal , then be professional and approach us respectfully to let us know we need to go up front first. We would have been more than happy to do so BTW. My son accidentally spilled water and I asked him to say thank you and apologize to the person cleaning it up which happened to be the same rude lady who out the "PLEASE SEE YOUR HOSTESS TO BE SEATED", sign in front of us. When my son looked at her and said "Excuse me,I'm sorry I spilled my water, thank you for cleaning it up", she literally IGNORED him and kept JAMMING her mop against my chair that I was sitting in Our server that helped us with drinks was apologetic for our bad experience and gave us good service after that, but I wish she would have gotten a manager to come over and speak to us because after all that we endured, we all felt like a burden and very unwelcome. This will be the FIRST AND LAST time I will ever visit again. Not that any of them care but I was celebrating graduating college, which is a huge deal to my family and I, but the employees at Dave and Busters ruined my night so thank you for that. Not once did I see a manager in site to ask for help. AWFUL...
