Best pulled pork and baked beans I’ve had since I left Nashville. I lucked out, helped by rain, to have no wait after they had an insanely busy day due to the Balloon Festival. They were sold out of some things which helped me make my choice and boy I could not have made a better one. The pork needed no sauce but the sauce was sooooo good I had to go back for extra. Hints of molasses with a perfect tang. The baked beans were traditional done right with high quality bits of meat gems. The owner and his team member were super nice too. They came out to check on me and take care of my every need. The picnic tables outside provided shelter from the rain and a safe dog friendly place to sit. I’ll definitely come back when I’m back in NM. Note that the Pom did get a special treat for posing but she knows it’s not appropriate to sit on the human table - don’t worry, we wiped it down for tomorrow’s guests! Enjoy.

Absolutely loved this place. The food was so reminiscent of being in my Uncle's backyard, cooking for the whole family. It was delicious without being overdone on spices and such that hide the taste of the meat. The side were very good especially the corn with green chile and cream cheese. We had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, who clearly has a passion for his craft. He has built this place up ground up, inside and out. The decor is great and from talented local artisits. We will definitely be going back to enjoy more. We hope this place stays around and thrives for years to come. Very much enjoyed every bit.

I was going to post a picture of a pulled pork Sandwich first but I ate it that fast 🤤. We finally got the opportunity to go and grab a bite of BBQ and boy did it not disappoint. The brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were so moist and mouth watering each bite brought me joy and I wanted more and the sweet and tangy sauce just completed the experience for my taste buds. The Mac and cheese was good. If you're in Old town it's definitely the spot to grab some food.

We went to this BBQ joint this evening, 11/4/2022, and it was delicious. No joke. The place was very understaffed. Just one dude was working, but he was friendly and helpful, and despite having a few orders up already, he was able to multitask very well. They were out of a couple things, but honestly that is completely expected in this post COVID (yes, it's still going on fools) world. You're gonna have a bad time if you expect restaurants to be as they were in the past. They have less employees (NOT because ppl don't want to work, but because owners don't want to pay what ppl are worth), they run out of stuff, and sometimes you have to wait for things. That being said, our order was taken quickly and came out quicker than expected considering one dude was doing it all.

I had the Sausage sandwich and it was awesome. Sausage was delicious, BBQ sauce was killer, and oh holy balls - the baguette was incredible. I have not had sandwich bread that perfect anywhere. Buttery, crunchy, soft, in all the right places. The pork was great, the chicken was great, the potato salad, wet corn, it was all wonderful. Eat here, don't go in thinking you're the boss of anything these days, and you'll really enjoy...

Update to response given: Two other couples we are traveling with confirmed they ordered the same thing, and that they received 6 inch sandwiches, not 3 inch sandwiches. The right thing for you to do is, to refund 50% of my bill. Thank you.

Total ripoff! I spent $33 for 2 - 3inch sub sandwiches with 3 oz of meat each, a small bag of potatoes chips and a pickle spear for each meal, and one watered down lemonade. We were still left hungry! I believe they cut the sandwich in half and charged full price. Two friends shared a sandwich and they said it was rather large and filled them both. I did not get the same experience. Be sure you know how big the meal is...
