I’m a longtime Starbucks customer and usually love the convenience of mobile ordering — but this location consistently falls short.
On a recent visit, I placed a mobile order that was never called out. When I finally asked about it, I was told someone else had taken it. They offered to remake the drink, but I didn’t have time to wait, and no one offered a refund or to restore the Stars I used.
This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered poor service here — multiple staff told me “someone would be with me shortly” while I stood at the counter being ignored for several minutes. I finally had to walk out, and even then, the looks I got made me feel like I was the problem.
I submitted a customer service request, which led to a long back-and-forth with Starbucks support, only to be told via email that they “couldn’t help” and that I’d need to start the whole process over via phone or chat. For a $6 drink I never received, this felt excessive and dismissive.
I hope this location — and Starbucks in general — takes steps to improve how they handle mobile orders and basic customer concerns. I’d love to keep supporting this store but I need to feel like my time and money are respected.
EDIT:I appreciate the response, but being directed to a general customer service number—after already contacting corporate—just feels like a dead end. I’ve explained the issue, and it should’ve been addressed directly at the store level without putting the burden back on me. At this point, I’m done. This experience—and the lack of meaningful follow-through—has made me rethink supporting Starbucks at all. I’m sharing this publicly because customers shouldn’t have to work this hard...
Read moreStarbucks is Starbucks, you know what you’re getting and it’s consistent. I’ve been to this Starbucks so many times. My 1 star review is a reflection of what I heard the manager say to his employees one Saturday morning. I was sitting in the shop working on my laptop. The manager kept saying I like you guys more than the Eubank staff then he went on to talk about a Native American employee who kept taking leave because his Aunt/Uncle died. He went on to share about how there was an investigation about the employee and they found that in their tribe they call any elder an aunt or an uncle. The man noticed I was keen to listen and I noticed he didn’t say ALL that he wanted to by the way he kept looking at me and making eye contact. The topic of conversation before this was about how the employees of this location had accomplished their work chores for the day. This was off topic and unprofessional, no one needed to hear this, and I noticed 2 of the individuals in the conversation were uncomfortable by being involved in the conversation. This WASPy bozo should look in the mirror and check his prejudice. I’m mentioning it because in this 21st century we all need to do better. You’re not better than anyone. By the end of the day you work at Starbucks and your comments are a reflection of the company you wear a shirt for. Do better. Be a better person. Be welcoming and have empathy. Don’t...
Read moreThe three different people I spoke to through the drive-through were unenthusiastic and unhappy. I purchased a grande vanilla latte that was extremely watered down and not sweet so I came back to the store to return it and I was told that they’re training new people and that’s probably why they drink like that and I said that I didn’t want to drink because I feel like it’s not going to be any better since they’re training people and this person did not go out of her way to earn my trust or try to make my day better as I was really excited to get this cup of coffee today. I know it sounds silly because it’s a cup of coffee, but it’s a treat for me when I get Starbucks and she just refunded me and didn’t really say sorry or apologize and the rest of the staff were looking at me and staring at me and laughing. Shows extreme immaturity and poor understanding of feedback. I think everyone was probably in high school. I would not go here ever again and they should have one solid barista on staff for every shift so when they’re drinks or not made well, there’s somebody there to remake the drink and recover service to ensure that people return to Starbucks because living here in New Mexico. There are a ton of better coffee options that cost a lot less andI’m probably just going to start doing that instead it’s just Starbucks is more convenient, but this location is...
