This Starbucks is so slow! No matter the time or day, there's always a long line both in the lobby and at the drive-thru. Ordering though the app won't make it any better unless you order 30 minutes in advance. I don't understand how after all the years, they still can't hire/schedule the right amount of staff members. And before you come at me about everyone and everywhere is short-staffed, this was even pre-Covid. The lobby is always gross and sticky. It's probably because they don't have enough people working. Also, the employees there are not the friendliest. One night, my friend and I visited to catch up. Of course, all the comfy seating areas were taken (but not the comfy chairs), so we were forced to sit in the hard, uncomfortable chairs. Normally, I wouldn't care, but I just had surgery and had to be selective on my comfort level. So we decide to take one of the open comfy chairs to sit in, and the barista is yelling at us to put it back. I get it if we were being jerks or if there were open comfy seating areas, but that wasn't the case. And if I'm the type of person who always puts the shopping carts back in the cart corral, trust me, I'm going to put your precious chair back...
Read moreThere is a HUGE problem at this location in terms of low class men trying to trick women having a short relationship and then SEX... Beware..
These men seem to target women they can tell are from other countries, (This place is near IAH) with the negative stereo type in mind that those women are submissive, ignorant and easy.. Yes these guys sit and people watch. There are many negative stereo types against Asians and from what I have seen at this location those are the targets of these predators..
Still a bunch of criminal activity but, of course not a nice area. Every time I come here I do not order coffee, I buy bottled Juice or water since I keep getting service that does not include proper hand sanitation and if I raise this concern the managers get upset as if that standard is offending. Maybe by looking at who they don't discriminant against, One might find people they've been looking for while trying to know why discrimination exists here...Sometimes there are waves of people who are of the same race and the employees seem to change their attitude accordingly...Long story short discrimination issues, customer service issues and favoritism...
Read moreMy mom and I came to this location to grab coffee around 9:15 PM on Friday, 11/29/24. We sat in the drive-thru for 10 minutes when we realized the line hadn't moved. We called the location to see if they were open but consistently received a busy tone, so we assumed they were busy with orders. Twenty minutes later, we finally made it to the speaker. We sat for five minutes, and no one took our order. I asked my mom to drive around to the window. I noticed they crossed out 10 PM and wrote 9 PM in marker on the closing time of the drive-thru window’s hours sticker. I have no issue with Starbucks closing early, but the two guys who were closing could've put a sign on the drive-thru speaker telling patrons they closed at 9 PM instead of 10 PM or even put a cone up to block the drive-thru entrance. They allowed a line of at least ten cars to sit there for 30 minutes (some sat there longer) with no knowledge that they closed early. In the future, please be considerate and do a better job of communicating early closures. A small sign on the door or window does nothing for people coming through the...
