During our visit in March, Our waiter had a terrible attitude —rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. The waiter was rude from start to finish.  We came and asked if they could turn the heaters since it was cold outside. The waiter name Jacob (invoice shows (Aleksandra C but his name was Jacob), Apparently was acting as a bartender at the same time, said the heaters not operating and it was not cold outside. He disappeared and later ask us what we wanted to drink. We ordered 2 Moscow mules , mussels and a burger . While we waited a couple of guys next to us asked to one of the bus boys to turn on the heater and we consequently ask for the same. Both tables now had the heaters on. We got our burger, which BTW the bun is always cold since it is on the freezer and ordered for extra ketchup and Tabasco. He took for ever and we thanked him for bringing the condiments but he totally ignore us. After him going like the speed of light serving the surrounding tables and asked for a third Moscow Mule. At one point he shutdown our heater and did the same to the table in front of us. Argued with both gentlemen claiming it was not cold and not necessary. One guy was not happy and they argued with the next table because they were complaining it was hot. He never acknowledged me or turn around. Finally he showed up with the drink. We finally after trying to track him several times for our bill for $24 dollars (each mule with absolute was $8) but encountered a $9 dollar charge. I asked another waiter for clarification since our waiter never was around to get a clarification of the charges. He finally came down fuming like I was an idiot telling that was for the ginger beer. At that point we had enough of this rudeness saga and just barely gave him a 4% tip. Maybe Jacob was having a bad day, but that’s not my problem—I came here to enjoy my meal, not deal with attitude and totally horrible service and rudeness’s. If this is acceptable behavior here, I won’t be back at all what a shame some rude waiter had to spoiled our evening. I Didn’t realize I was paying to be...

Should have been a 5 star rating, but.........

Our party of four, looking for a change of pace from turkey leftovers, visited this lively pub, post Thanksgiving. although the place was humming, we scored seats at a high top right off. The ambiance, the service, the cocktails wine and beer, the live music, and the food were all top notch.

The only drawback was a mouthy lummox in the corner, who must have been under the assumption that all those in his entourage left their hearing aids in their charging cradles back at home. Yes, I am fully cognizant that any decent pub, on a weekend night, will be loud and boisterous. Isn't that part of the draw? Whereas one normally expects to speak at a range of 1 to 10 on the oratory scale, most patrons have to raise their voice to a level 12 in a lively pub.

This prattle monger, that I refer to, was sitting at a table just off the end of the bar. Roaring, constantly, at a level of 25 or more on our 1 to 10 scale, he must have had delusions about his comedic oratory skills. Perhaps he thought himself similar to Fluffy, Jeff Dunham, Bob Hope, Jonathan Winters, Maine's Bob Marley, or the like, as he laughed heartedly at the end of each of his thunderous dribbles. I exaggerate, not; he was like a one man Super Bowl touchdown cheer. Two members of our party, who sat with their backs to him, are still suffering from 'rubber necking' to see if their was a bar fight or rumble going on behind them.

The bartender, bouncer, service manager, owner or someone from management should have asked him to tone down a dozen or more notches. I was actually surprised that the singer, in the other room, did not hand him the mike, not that he needed it. Wouldn't it be better to lose 1 customer than alienate dozens of others. Yes, we saw many heads turn and then mumble about Mr. Obnoxious.

I would go back again, in a heartbeat, were I in the area. However, if Megaphone Mouth was there, unbridled, I would immediately...

So when I got there the hostess took me and my family and thought it was smart to sit me, my wife and my 6yr old daughter in the bar area with the door opening and closing near the cold and rainy weather day in a booth. It was absolutely ridiculously LOUD INSIDE THE BAR! CURSING! LOUD CONVERSATIONS AND ALOT OF DRUNKS. I understand this is an Irish pub and if you promote that you are kid friendly; stick with it and not sit family’s in the bar area! My wife was very uncomfortable and my daughter just wanted to go. We really did not know if we had a waiter or a bartender serving food our food! My wife had the sea food and she liked it. I had corn beef and cabbage and I have to be honest the corn beef tasted like it came out of Can! The carrots were blend, mashed potatoes were good and the gravy were the only thing on the plate that tasted really good. While we were there a family who came in also about the time when I was about to pay, they got pissed because they did not want to be seated in the bar area and they were moved upstairs. My advice to this restaurant if you see a family especially a little kid; bring the family upstairs to your restaurant not the bar area! I felt like I wasted my time and money at this place and i was on vacation visiting and let’s just say it left a bad taste...
