McDonald's — Restaurant in Alexandria

Only getting 5 Stars so it is at the Top AGAIN. This McDonald's is identical to the McDonald's in Pineville, LA. Once again there dining room is not open to eat, I wonder why when the entire State of Louisiana is at 75% Capacity on inside dining per the Governor, & it is Drive Through Only. I again was in Lane #1 & sat there as 4 different vehicles placed their order in Lane #2. I had to pull up to the window & I asked to speak to the Manager. Upon discussing with him what the issue was he explained he had 2 different employees taking orders at each individual Lane. I explained to him that OBVIOUSLY the employee working Lane #1 was not even working taking orders. I even pointed out the lady behind us in Lane #1 was still waiting for someone to take her order. Now I am NOT asking for anything free, but you would expect the Manager to at least discount my order for the inconvenience. Well Nope he charged full price & I didn't complain & I paid the full price. When I pulled up to the window to recieve my order I was asked to pull up. I pulled up & finally my order was brought to me minus a drink. The employee went back in to retrieve the drink & 5 minutes later as I type this I am still waiting for the drink. This is absolutely the WORSE customer service from a Corporation based on Customer Service. This is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and they want minimum wage to be raised. We'll when you provide good Customer Service I may agree with you. Until then Nope it would not reflect your Level of Work. I will NOT patronize ANY McDonald's EVER AGAIN. This LAST experience with this location...among many others has been God awful. This time I used the Waitr app to place the order for pickup...not delivery... With hope that the order would be ready when we got there. But alas, this didn't occur. They first claimed I had no order at that location...then they said they had given the order to a Waitr driver... So I called waitr...and they saw the order still unprocessed in the system in the pick up status. So I try to remedy the issue too after phoning Waitr by calling McDonald's directly. Do you know the phone doesn't even ring through? Don't know if it's off the hook or what but it's ridiculous. I got a call back from Waitr and even they couldn't reach this location for the same reason. Finally we go back...low and behold they find the order and fix the food.

Over the years, I have had to go back to this location because orders I've picked up are either wrong or they have made me wait on the sidelines for something I had ordered and they FORGOT I was waiting.... How about that??? They had given my food to someone else too. Well...I have given this location chance after chance, and they still can't get it right. I don't know what the remedy is but a serious overhaul needs to occur in the areas of customer satisfaction and quality service on every level. They aren't responsive, they are careless, and there is a serious lack of attention to detail. Start in these areas if you want to increase and or repair your credibility...with...

I've been eating at McDonald's for a very long time and I must say, these days, it seems like the quality of most items are a hit or miss. My last visit I ordered a large coffee and a spicy chicken sandwich deluxe. I usually ask if the coffee is fresh as I drink coffee all during the day and the person said that a fresh pot was brewing. I was even asked to wait in the designated parking for the coffee to finish. Well when I received my order, the coffee was not fresh, it wasn't even hot and was weak, I can definitely tell if coffee is fresh or not. I have noticed someone while waiting at the drive through, pouring a cup of coffee before the pot finished brewing which causes the remaining coffee to be weak. I like McDonald's coffee and I even buy it at the grocery store, not to mention I'll take it over Starbucks regular coffee! I took one bite of the sandwich and didn't eat any more, it was that bad. This was also my first time trying that sandwich. The bottom bun was burnt and hard as if it had been setting around a while, no lettuce just some sauce and tomato.
